Welcome to Big Body Guitar Co. I’m Scott—a self-taught guitarist and bassist with over 24 years of playing, a love for heavy music, and a habit of taking guitars apart.

You’ll find guitar builds, repairs, mods, heavy metal and hard rock covers, amp-sim tones, and honest looks at what works—and what doesn’t—in my own setup. From rebuilding a beat-up guitar into a modern metal machine to chasing a better recording tone, I share the process as I learn.

I learned so much from the online guitar community. Now I’m sharing something back, including Front End Body Work: my free Windows VST3 plugin with a noise gate, DI EQ, tuner, and level controls.
