After 20 years as a developer, architect, and consultant, I went solo in 2017 to coach developers on their careers.

I learned it was easier to make money charging for outcomes than for hours. So after coaching over 150 developers, I started showing them how to do it too. Experienced developers don't need more skills. They need a way to get paid for the judgment they already have.

It starts with people you already know. Former coworkers and managers have only seen you as an employee. On this channel, I show you how to reach out to them as a consultant, and find out if a problem you keep seeing is one they need solved.

I also share how my faith in Jesus Christ helped me recover from addiction, so I can serve the tech industry instead of trying to escape it.
