More vitality for the life that's yours to live.

For those who have lived, learned, carried responsibilities, and begun to recognize that more effort isn't necessarily the way forward.

Perhaps you think deeply, notice everything, and have become very good at attending to everyone and everything around you.

Yet knowing more hasn't necessarily made life feel lighter.

What if another relationship with Life is already available?

I'm Phi Thuy Nguyen, creator of The CERR Method — Connect, Expand, Release, Relax.

Through the 7 Recognitions, we explore familiar patterns of human experience, not to diagnose what's wrong, but to see what may be happening beneath the surface.

More ways to experience CERR are taking shape: Shift Happens Community, guided mini-courses, and books.

From attention that leaves to attention that lives.

Where does your attention go when life makes contact?

A conversation.
A disagreement.
An unexpected change.
A moment of uncertainty.

Sometimes our attention leaves us so quickly that we don't even notice.

Not because we're doing anything wrong.
We've simply become very good at attending to everything around us.

Over the past few years, I've been noticing what changes when attention gradually returns home.

More lightness.
More freedom.
More vitality in ordinary life.

That quiet exploration eventually became something I'd been wanting to create:
A Free Attention Assessment.

It's not a personality test.
It's not a measure of how well you're doing.

It's simply an invitation to notice where your attention naturally goes...
...what it may be carrying...
...and perhaps what no longer needs to come along.

🌱 Take the Free Attention Assessment through the link in my bio.

From attention that leaves
to attention that lives.

More vitality for the life that's yours to live.

The Sunday Soul Note exists.
The accompanying reel exists.

CapCut has decided not to let me download it without its logo across the top. 😄

Troubleshooting complete.
Error ticket submitted.

So... the Soul Note waits.

But karaoke still exists.
The moon still exists.

Happy Sunday. 🌕🎤

Sometimes what arrives doesn't need an immediate response.

A feeling.

An idea.

A question.

A possibility.

Not everything that enters our awareness is asking us to act.

Sometimes it simply needs somewhere to land.

Like rain entering soil, what quietly arrives today may be nourishing something you won't see until much later.

🌿

What has been asking for a little more room instead of a quick answer?

Sunday Soul Note 🌿

Unproductive or unoccupied?
There is a difference.

One still measures itself against doing.

The other has stopped measuring.

Sometimes our inner world becomes occupied without us realizing it—

by what needs to happen next,

by unanswered questions,

by the future we're trying to secure,

or the past we're still trying to understand.

Perhaps rest begins somewhere quieter than stopping.

Perhaps it begins when we become... unoccupied.

Leave a little room inside yourself.
Look out a window.

Watch something move without following it.

Feel what is already here.

Let yourself be held.

The full Sunday Soul Note is now available.

A tradition for the monthly new and full moon.

Fresh flowers, fruit, sticky rice, desserts.

A lighted incense.

An offering for new beginnings, for fullness, and for those who dwell in the unseen.

I've watched my sisters and others honor this tradition for many years.

Quietly, without urgency, something in me always felt it would be nice to participate one day.

The conditions came together some months ago.

A return.

A quiet consolidation.

Integration happening below the surface.

And I've simply enjoyed the experience.

A small offering.

A chant.

A connection.

Presence with Life's ever-present rhythms.

So much of my attention once faced outward.

Seeking.

Meaning.

Value.

Worth.

Belonging.

Yet what I was searching for had been available all along.

There are seasons when Life invites us to grow.

And there are seasons when Life invites us to recognize what has already grown.

While astrology isn't something I've studied, the recent alignments offer something gentle to sit with—not as certainty, but as another language through which we might notice our own unfolding.

The Buck Full Moon illuminated what has become strong enough to stand.

Chiron reminded us that healing isn't becoming someone new, but no longer organizing our lives around an old wound.

The Lion's Gate Portal invited us to remember that light doesn't always arrive from somewhere else.

Sometimes it is simply what becomes visible when we stop turning away from ourselves.

And today's New Moon Solar Eclipse whispers something even quieter.

Not,

"Become who you are."

But,

"Allow what has already become true to take its place."

This is a gentle season.

The kind easily mistaken for slowness.

Soil settles after rain.

Fruit ripens long before it is picked.

A tree does not pull its branches toward the sun.

It simply remains rooted while Life continues growing through it.

Perhaps this is why return has become so meaningful.

Not to make things happen.

But to recognize how much is already happening beneath ordinary perception.

There is less urgency.

Less proving.

Less reaching.

More remaining.

And from remaining...

a different kind of participation quietly appears.

Not participation born from effort.

Participation born from availability.

When we stop carrying who we believed we needed to become...

Life finds hands already open.

May this New Moon remind you that not every threshold announces itself through movement.

Some arrive as stillness.

Some arrive as relief.

Some arrive as the simple recognition that what you've been waiting to become...

has quietly been becoming you all along.

If something here met you this morning, I'd love to know what quietly resonated.

Sunday Soul Note

Before the day asks anything of you...
Maybe open a window.

Sometimes the rain has already washed the earth before we wake.

The light has already arrived.

Life has already begun nourishing us.

Perhaps home isn't something we build through extraordinary effort.

Perhaps it is something we quietly inhabit—
one ordinary moment at a time.

Sunday Soul Note

The shoreline never keeps a month.
Neither do we.

As another month comes to a close, it's easy to measure what was accomplished.

Projects completed.

Goals reached.

Progress made.

Nature measures something different.

Rain falls.

The soil settles.

Roots move a little deeper.

None of these announce themselves.

They happen beneath the surface.

Perhaps some of our most meaningful growth is no longer something we're trying to achieve.

It's quietly becoming the way we meet our work...

our relationships...

and ourselves.

As this month slips into the sea,

may you notice

what no longer asks for so much effort.

Sometimes that's where the deepest growth has already taken place.

If something in you is already clear—and you're not looking for more insight, just clean movement—

Something is quietly becoming part of us.

We don't always notice it while it's happening.

Growth isn't always dramatic.

Sometimes it looks like...

• A pause before responding.
• Rest without guilt.
• Listening before speaking.

• Waiting with less urgency.

One day we realize these aren't practices anymore.

They've quietly become the way we meet Life.
🌿

What has quietly become familiar to you?

Sometimes the deepest celebrations don't arrive with fireworks.

They arrive as relief.

This week reminded me that there is a profound difference between carrying water and living beside the river.

One requires constant effort.

The other simply asks us to scoop what is needed...
when it is needed...
trusting the river will continue to flow.

Less proving.
Less managing.
Less carrying.
More participation.

What has Life quietly reminded you of this week?
