Anyway, I may do a pop-up stream sometime on Sunday, but don't bank on it because I might be too tired after working 6 days in a row. Especially since I start training a new person next week. Hey everyone... I hate to do this, but I'm cancelling today's stream (Day 5 of the #7DBC stream). I don't know if it's just because it's been a long and stressful week or it's because I'm starting to catch what the girls have been volleying back and forth, but I'm beat... And I want to make sure I'm fit enough to do tomorrow's 12-hour marathon.

So, cancelling today's stream, but I'll be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed tomorrow for the next stream.

It's that time again! Time for another 7-Day Book Challenge where we try to write a project from start-to-finish in a week.

That means a full week of daily streams and a 12-hour marathon! Woot! Woot!

I'm cheating a bit this go-round because I plan on finishing the project I started in June 2026 during the 7-Day Book Challenge. JUST ONE BITE is a fated mates vampire paranormal romance about a vampire king who discovers his fated mate is a woman who hates vampires.

During that 7DBC, I got just over 40K words. I believe the final word count of the story will be between 70-90K long, which means I have 30-50K left to write, and despite the fact that I have work, I plan on streaming every day that week.


Here's the tentative schedule that's subject to change.

Mon (14): 8:30 AM MST
Tue (15): 8:30 AM MST
Wed (16): 8:30 AM MST
Thu (17): 8:30 AM MST
Fri (18): 8:30 AM MST
Sat (19): 8:30 AM—2:30 PM
6:00 PM—12:00 AM MST
Sun (20): 9:00 PM MST

I'm still doing a 12-hour marathon this time, but I need a longer break between for chores and errands, and need to be able to get up Sunday to play chauffer for the kiddos, so changing up how we're doing things this time.

I hope you'll be able to join me. I'd love to have everyone. If you're doing the 7-Day Book Challenge, let me know what you plan to work on for that week.

For those who don't know, I took a hiatus in July. My intention was to get caught up on YouTube videos as well as finish the projects I'd been working on (the final stories in the Sultry Solstices series) and come back strong in August.

Well, I didn't film a single video in July and haven't had a chance to yet in August either. And I didn't complete the series either. Close! I'm on the last 2 stories, but didn't finish.

Part of it was burnout I believe. I've been trying to finish this series since the beginning of the year it turns out (I discovered that tidbit of info when I was consulting my 5-year planner earlier) and part of it is because I started a new job in June that left me exhausted when I got home, and I've been scheduled across three types of shifts (morning, evening, and night) since I started.

I'm finally almost finished with Sultry Solstices. I will finish the last 2 stories this month, and my schedule becomes consistent next week, but I think I'm going to continue my hiatus into this month, so there won't be any videos or vlogs posted.

That said, I will be doing Saturday night live streams at 9 PM (mountain time) and maybe a pop-up stream here or there as I see fit if I need the peer pressure, but no vlogs or videos this month. Next month for sure!
