I just took a trip to the London Museum of Water & Steam, and it did not disappoint! From standing next to absolutely massive, working steam engines to riding the narrow-gauge waterworks railway, it is a cracking piece of British engineering and history brought to life.

It is not just looking at static exhibits, either. Getting up close to the sheer scale of the tech that kept London running is brilliant, and it is a fantastic spot if you want to explore something a little bit different and off the beaten path in the capital.

Today marks what would have been Freddie’s 80th birthday, and like a lot of you, I've been spending the morning listening to the back catalogue and thinking about his legacy.

Before Queen became global stadium-fillers, Farrokh Bulsara was just a kid growing up in Feltham after his family moved over from Zanzibar in the 1960s.

I visited the area recently to track down the memorials in the West London town to the iconic Queen frontman, just a stone's throw away from Heathrow Airport.

Local group Friends of Feltham Green run free tours to ‪@Queen‬ related spots in the town so check out their website if interested in joining them for one.
