I'm so ready to roast this iPhone 18 Pro Max camera. You obviously need ND filters, and the Blackmagic App.
Let's start with a reality check...
Drawbacks: 1- The phone will not let you record ProRes 60FPS unless you have an external storage attached. 2- Ultra sensitive gyroscope to micro vibrations, so you better have finger dexterity to fly smooth with this camera. 3- Phone got super hot with just 30FPS on 4K standard and also ProRes. Thermal issues are NO JOKE! 4- No manual WhiteBalance. Forced to use auto or off balanced presets. 5- More expensive that previous models.
Positive: 1- Manual aperture settings is a game changer. 2- ProRes & Apple Log 2 for better and flexible options.
Did have some iOS 27 freeze bugs and digitizer issues. Seems like I'm going back to Samsung ✅.
New Short that shows the process of connecting your FPV control to Bodycam. No need to change any Steam settings, let x360CE do the job! Download x60CE from their official website. Add one switch to arm acro-mode, then remap gimbal axis inputs. Practice and enjoy FPV.
UPDATE: Expanding ND options for GoPro Mission 1. Just created a new ND case for 58mm filters. Will do a final prototype and upload the file for FREE. This is next level for real cinepilots, using defusion and more professional ND filters. Stay tuned for updates. Cheers 👊.

✅ Following the Golden MaxRate Rule of 1000°(or more) for REAL ACRO. Don't get stuck on slow and boring freestyletard acro! Always upgrade 🫶
I advice newbies to get comfy with 800° first, then move to Pro League maxrates. Build up that trick muscle memory and send it with confidence. If I can do it, you can do it too 🤘.

Just want to say THANK YOU to all the pilots who asked me for the Gimbal How-To video. Super simple and deconstructed (idiot-proof). Yes, you can use your throttle with more grace and control, and not like you have the emergency brakes ON 24/7 while flying. Gimbal smoothness is important. No excuses, go send it ;)
Quick update: new "long" format footage soon. I kept stacking content and new tutorials that never got posted. New tricks with more dimensionality and fresh angles. You know I love to keep FPV giga spicy and continue to raise the bar for the fam.

Pilots asked for pro tips, so made a longer clip with sim demonstration. Read the chapter titles so you can pick and choose what you want to know. I made sure that new clip is for the 1% of FPV pilots out there. Grab that info and use it to get better next time you fly. Tons of cheese traps for the rats.
