This past week I've been busy beginning the migration of my gaming channel's #Discord community over to #Fluxer. I guess now it's technically now also just my community in general for every bit of my content as I named the server Flux The Bits after this place. :) I gotta say, I am loving it over there. Very happy with the decision so far. Do any of you have thoughts?
Bonjour everyone! I've gone ahead and posted a helpful #tutorial on getting all your #HoYoVerse games running on #Linux with very little effort. This is replacing older videos on the same subject after many lessons and new developments happened along the way. I hope you all enjoy the video and have a lot of fun in your fav gatcha games.
Happy 1st #birthday to my Flip The Bits channel! We sure have had some good times over the last rotation around the sun, helped MANY people and confounded others. Wishing your 2nd year to be just as good, if not better! Let's hope you don't go through the "Terrible Twos." 🙂
Let's take a trip right back to the first ever video on this channel. A little #guide I made to teach you how to create the ULTIMATE bootable USB stick for all your #Linux (and other) ISO's!
Skip the tweaking and start doing! The Nobara #Linux 44 ISO has finally dropped a couple days ago and you bet your bottom dollar I'm going to show y'all how to get up and #gaming with it! Stop putting it off and #switchtolinux today.
Attention #HoYoVerse fans: Now you can easily play ALL your #games in #Linux just as simply as any other. I'll be updating this video soon, but you can get into the action right away. Watch the attached video, but choose DW-Proton Latest instead of the default, then hop over to the Tools tab and enter the following Game Argument:
WINE_ENABLE_TIMEOUT_FIX=1 %command%
Once you've done that you can play Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, Honkai Star Rail and Honkai Impact 3rd with no issues! Hope this helped!
Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated. I'm still kickin'. Sorry for the lack of content recently. Been a very hot and hectic summer with a lot of OT and such at the day job and other fun stuff on my gaming channel(s). I'll have some new stuff out soon-ish though. :) In the meantime, why not check out an oldie but a goodie?
CachyOS is my personal daily driver distro. I can't say enough good stuff about it. But it's Arch based so how easy could it be for new users to get into it? In this #tutorial video I'll take you through ALL the steps to get you up and running and even throw in some extra helpful tech tips to ease you in. Check it out!
Linux is a fast paced world and as such a lot of my videos that are only a few months old are already out of date. I'll be making new videos for the latest releases of distros to ensure the guides are as fresh as possible for new and returning folks. Some older videos have been unlisted while others, for the sake of being a fun kind of time capsule thing to look back on, have simply had [DEPRECATED] added to their titles and links to the newer versions added to descriptions and cards.
In the spirit of freshening things up (pun intended) I've uploaded an installation guide for Linux Mint 22.3 that you can check out here!
Are you a Genshin Impact or Zenless Zone Zero player but want to live that #Linux life? Tired of fussin' and a feudin' with Lutris & Steam? Have I got the video for you! Here's how to install the HoYoPlay Launcher and games with the Faugus Launcher! It's so easy and painless, anyone can do it. Welcome to the #HoYoVerse, friends!
Hell, it's about time to get your game on in #Battlenet on #Linux! Whether you're crafting wars or stars in your favourite #Blizzard games, I got you covered in my latest #how-to video. Serve the hive in the comfort of your favourite distro and check it out today!
