Well, not him — but heavyweight boxing has.
Wladimir Klitschko was unbeaten when he punched himself out against Ross Puritty.
Derrick Jefferson was unbeaten when something remarkably similar happened against David Izon.
One went on to dominate the heavyweight division. The other never quite fulfilled his potential.
