In 2011, I lost a loved one who refused a blood transfusion. She was just 16 years old.

To lose someone knowing that they could have received life-saving medical care but chose not to because of people's interpretation of a Bible verse and threats of being excommunicated if they did - that is a pain I sadly know all too well.

I'm sending my deepest love to all who have lost loved ones in this manner. I know how heartbreaking and hurtful these 'updates' are because they can't bring back those we have lost.

And if anyone is still wondering or on the fence about leaving a destructive cult. May this be your reminder to know that it's okay to leave and choose yourself. ❤️

When you leave... you quickly realize how intentional this programming was and how it holds you back from having agency over your life.

Don't be fooled: Education is essential. Financial independence is essential. Your freedom is essential.
