Hey all, THE VAMPIRES OF NEW ORLEANS is complete and we are starting to send a press screener out to reviewers. If you are a film critic, video essayist, podcaster, streamer, etc with a sizable audience, and you have any interest in making content about the film, reach out to us.

The movie is really, really, really, really good – like, shockingly good – and promises to be the final word on the New Orleans vampire as a pop culture figure. The decade-long friendship and creative collaboration I have with my composer ‪@dillonmderosa‬ is reaching a breaking point because of irreconcilable creative differences over the color scheme of the cover art for the Vampires of New Orleans OST album (which fucking ROCKS, by the way).

In the midst of his aesthetic folly, Dillon had a rare moment where the light of reason broke in, and he requested to resolve the impasse with an unfriendly competition where we ask you, the Atun-Shei audience, to choose who is right, and who is so very very very wrong on their preference between a red background and a blue background for the album.

I won't say who is in favor of which design so as not to tip the scale one way or the other, but suffice to say, an unstoppable director has met an immovable composer and now the people must decide.


CHOOSE CAREFULLY, as the fate of nations hangs in the balance!
