I have a script going into Welt's role in the story and how he's a nothingburger of a character now but I've been iffy on getting it recorded, but I think I'll tweak it a bit and work on it, but first:
Duet Night Abyss Patch 1.6 came out and with it a new story update. I haven't discussed the game in a while and I've played the story and I'm going to get the video on that started.
Next week should be the HSR livestream? Possibly WuWa's, too, but either way, I've got some more content on the way for y'all. Look forward to it!
A polarizing story, lack of events, and concerning leaks has made people realize that this game is a shell of its former self.
The HSR of 2023 and the HSR of 2026 might as well be different games. It's truly on maintenance mode now.
I'll talk about my feelings on HSR, Nodusfall, and the leaks eventually but I still need to actually finish the story. So I'll get that done after work today.
The Fate collab sucks but it sucks less than the first one and the 4.4 main story because the character interactions are actually entertaining. I'll make a short video on it
I've been playing a lot of Granblue Fantasy Relink lately, the DLC has got me by the balls. It's peak.
I'm currently editing my Wuthering Waves 3.5 story video and I at least have Honkai: Star Rail updated, but I'll start 4.4 later this week.
I'll be honest, between Duet Night Abyss, Wuthering Waves, and Honkai: Star Rail, HSR has been the least enjoyable for me lately, which is crazy to say.
I'm hoping 4.4 is at least interesting to read through and the mystery of Himeko is satisfying.
My Motherboard is completely dead. I don't know if it took any other parts with it, but no matter what I did the mobo would not come back to life. Unfortunate, but it is what it is, I'll pick up another one online and hope for the best. I have an ITX build so it's expensive, and if my order gets cancelled, I'll go full open-air with a regular ATX mobo lol.
That being said, the HSR 4.3 review has to be delayed. I'm on my shitty laptop so I need to install new video editing software and get footage off of my SSDs.
As for PLAYING the games. I'll be good, I have my phone and it's more than capable of playing HSR, WuWa, DuetNightAbyss, pretty much anything I need.
I won't be able to record footage anymore, obviously. Which sucks because I don't want to get accused of not playing the games, but it is what it is.

The story is good but it once again has moments that waste your time. There's a scene where a character is shown around the express... which we do already in 4.1. If you know, you know.
There's also some lore inconsistencies that we need to discuss in the video. Even small Lore inconsistencies are bad if the audience picks up on them right away. From hair color to forms. No amount of hype moments and aura can excuse it.

The audio from my Duet Night Abyss Livestream overview video is giga fucked so I'm not going to upload a video on the livestream. But if you want my opinion, it was an insane livestream with a lot of things in it from new features like Guilds, new Calamity Weapons, a new co-op event with tons of rewards and Demon Wedges, to the biggest QOL--the New Player Experience is finally getting updated and streamlined. New and returning players should feel a lot better now hopping into the game than before.
Also, Psyche's skin is getting a rerun, and the pity you had on that banner is carried over, so it seems like pity is banner specific. If there's a skin you missed because you didn't get it in the gacha, you can save your pulls. And if there's a future skin you want, you can build pity and get it later.
Overall, this patch is looking stacked and packed. One of my biggest criticisms, the New Player Experience, is getting the TLC it needs. They're making large scale events that replace the monotonous demon wedge grind, and of course, more ways to socialize. I'm eager to see how the game's first anniversary will turn out!
I've had a TERRIBLE time getting my livestream overview uploaded and made. We aren't even GROUND ZERO of the typhoon and just a regular ass storm cuts the power, knocks out cell towers, and causes repeated intermittent power outages for over an HOUR. I had to pretty much save every single moment during the editing process.
Finally it's uploading, and it'll be up soon, so I do hope you guys give it a like and watch when it does!
I liked this patch a lot but I've seen people shit on it because of their own gross misunderstanding of the story. There ARE some criticisms to be had which I will discuss in my video, but to say the story sucks because you gaslit yourself into believing lore that didn't exist is on you.
