Good morning or good evening everyone!

I wanted to try something a little different on Echoes of Alba with this new video.

Instead of focusing only on relaxing Celtic music, this project blends calm narration, Scottish folklore, ancient Highland legends and atmospheric landscapes into a more cinematic journey through the Isle of Skye and the Old Man of Storr.

The goal was not to create a fast-paced documentary, but something slower, quieter and more immersive.

A video you can listen to while relaxing, working, or simply drifting into the atmosphere of the Highlands.

I honestly don’t know yet if this format truly fits the channel, so I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts.

10,000 souls have gathered here… and I still can’t quite believe it.

When I started Echoes of Alba, it was just a simple idea — to create a quiet place. A space where you could breathe, focus, read, rest… or simply escape for a moment. I never imagined that so many of you would find your way here.

But somehow, across different countries, different lives, different stories… we all meet in the same place — somewhere in the Highlands, between the mist, the mountains, and the music.

To those who listen while studying late at night.
To those who come here to find a bit of peace after a long day.
To those who read, write, dream, or simply sit in silence with these sounds…

Echoes of Alba

We are now 6,000 people traveling together through the Highlands with this music, wandering through these landscapes in our own way… and for that, I sincerely thank you.

I see and read your comments, and I truly do my best to reply to everyone whenever I can. Some of you share memories of landscapes you once visited, places that stayed with you long after you left. Others feel nostalgic for lands they have never seen with their own eyes, letting the music carry them into dreams of distant hills and quiet lochs.

Some of your stories are heavy, yet you found hope again along the way. Others simply listen to the sound of the Highlands while studying for exams, working on spreadsheets, or relaxing after a long day.

Each of you carries your own story and experiences, yet what strikes me every time is the kindness and warmth in the comments. Reading them brings me as much joy as creating these videos.

Winter is slowly coming to an end (or summer, for those of you listening from the southern hemisphere 😄), and I truly hope I can continue to accompany you with this music through the warmer seasons ahead.

Echoes of Alba

First of all, thank you.
Thanks to your support and the growth of this channel, I’ve been able to start a new project that’s very close to my heart.

Music and reading have always been my two greatest passions. I read a lot of fantasy — The Lord of the Rings, The First Law, The Farseer Trilogy, and many others. Those worlds shaped my imagination deeply.

Lately, I’ve been creating darker, more solemn fantasy music inspired by that atmosphere — music meant for reading, writing, and quiet immersion.

So I started another channel called Legendaerum:

The idea is simple: thematic compositions inspired by historical, legendary, or fictional figures — each piece built around a story, a mood, a forgotten echo.

If that speaks to you, you’re warmly invited to explore it.

And don’t worry — Echoes of Alba isn’t going anywhere.
The rhythm here will not slow down. This remains my main project, and I’m fully committed to it.

In March, I’ll also be experimenting with shorter vocal pieces. I hope you’ll enjoy them.

Echoes of Alba

Hello everyone 👋
I hope your week is going well.

For me, it’s been great — I’ve been experimenting with new ideas on the channel, and today I’d like to introduce something a bit different.

I want to start retracing Scottish history and folklore through instrumental, narrative-driven music.
To begin this journey, I chose one of the oldest and most mysterious themes of all: the Picts.

In two hours, I’ll be premiering my new video live, focused on the story and legacy of the Picts.
This time, it won’t be just calm background music — as the story unfolds, the music will evolve too, moving from peaceful atmospheres to more intense and restless moments.

Instead of using standard Scottish landscapes, I chose to work with illustrations, simply because… well, finding actual Pict footage is nearly impossible (which makes sense 😄).

I’m really curious to hear what you think about this format, so feel free to leave a comment and share your thoughts if it interests you.
And if you have ideas or wishes for future themes, don’t hesitate to tell me.
