You are not living in the world.
You are living in how you see it.
What you see is a projection
of your unconscious guilt.
That is why it repeats.
That is why it feels real.
This is training.
Not to fix the world,
but to undo what you’re projecting onto it.
Step out of the loop.
We move forward from here.
Choose again.
Will you join the ones who save the world,
or remain in hell—keeping your brother there with you?

Union Square, New York, the night of 7 October 2026. A peace group held a vigil for the dead of 7 October and of Gaza. That morning the Mayor had published a statement that enraged people in three directions at once; that night he stood at the vigil with a candle and did not speak. Protesters drummed and chanted until the speakers could not be heard. Across another barricade people with Israeli flags shouted back.
Cards 1 to 5 are how it sounded. Go through them and notice whose voice you pick out.
Card 6 is your own hands.
Cards 7 to 10 are the same square, and three things that were said in it that night and mostly not heard: by a demonstrator, by the Public Advocate at the microphone, and by a woman who organised the vigil and lost her aunt on 7 October.
Which did you hear first?
These pictures are an AI re-creation: no photograph, footage or sound of the event is used and no real person is shown. Every quoted word is as reported on 7-8 October 2026 by Gothamist, CBS New York, JTA, The Forward, Fox News and CNN; the statement's full text was published by FOX 5 NY.

Tennessee injected Christa Pike twice on 30 September 2026. She woke up. Now the fight is whether to try again.
You picked a door at the headline. Swipe through both rooms - and in the one that isn't yours, notice what you call the people in it.
In one room: the girl she killed in 1995 was 19, and her mother, who has waited 31 years, called the failed execution "a mess."
In the other: a woman of 50 lived through two lethal doses, and a candidate for governor answered, "Bring back the electric chair."
None of this makes the murder smaller, or that night acceptable. What happens to her is for the courts. What you want to happen is yours.
The last cards ask for ten seconds. Tell us if you could do it.
Real: the failed execution, the murder, the two quotations (BBC, AP, ABC News, CBS News, 30 Sep - 8 Oct 2026). Imagined: the rooms.

In a book printed in 1924, a forest fire closes in on the author from three sides. His two companions say:
“There are two ways of escape. One is to try to get to the next creek, where there is water flowing through a deep canyon. If we can make this canyon which is about five miles away, we can in all probability make ourselves safe until the fire has burned itself out. The other way is to go on through the fire with us if you can trust us to take you through.”
Which way? Vote, then read on.
—
“Instantly all fear left me as I realized that these men had proven true in all emergencies. I threw myself, as it were, wholly on their protection and stepped between them, and we proceeded on our way, which seemed to be in the direction the fire was raging the most.”
“Then immediately it seemed as though a great archway opened before us and we went on directly through that fire, without the least inconvenience, either from smoke or heat, or the burning brands strewn along the trail under our feet.”
“There was at least six miles of this fire-swept area that we passed through.” … “We found a shady place on the bank of the stream, ate our lunch and rested for an hour, then went to the village.”
The author tells this as something that happened to him. The words in quotation marks are the book's own, unaltered; … marks an omission.

A worker at a plague laboratory in Siberia has died. Nearly 200 people who had contact with her are under medical observation.
Stop there. Your mind has already finished this story. Which ending did it write?
It's spreading.
They're hiding it.
It's nothing.
Pick honestly before you read on.
Here is everything that is publicly known as of 5 October 2026. The regional governor said on 2 October that none of the contacts shows signs of illness and that their tests are negative. Plague is not officially confirmed; Russia's health agency calls it pneumonia of unknown aetiology. Reporters say local officials posted a warning and then deleted it. That is all, and it may change.
The facts do not pick an ending. You did, in under a second.
The ego cannot stand "I don't know." It would rather be afraid, or have an enemy, or be right.
How many times were you sure you had all the facts, and were wrong?
So try it for ten seconds. Find the ending you wrote. Don't fix it, and don't trade it for a smarter one. Set it down, and hand it to the One who does know.
Then read the first sentence again and notice what is left when you add nothing.

1 October 2026, San Francisco. A company called Tavus showed a model named Griffin.
The test was simple. People were told they would be matched with another participant for a one-minute video call. Some of them were matched with Griffin instead: a face generated in real time, listening while they talked.
54 people talked to it.
26 walked away believing they had met a person.
With the company's previous system it was 1 in 41.
The caveats matter. It is the company's own study. The calls lasted one minute. The model is a research preview that only selected testers can touch.
But notice what moved. Not sharper video. Not a nicer voice. A presence that waits for you, reacts to your face, and answers - convincingly enough that half a room could not tell.
Every world you can step into needs someone to meet there.
For a long time the open question was whether a generated world could look real.
The question now: what happens when the people in it do?
