Just a heads up: there won’t be a video for the IGN Japan Hamaguchi interview. It was entirely in Japanese (there didn’t seem to be a whole lot of new stuff in it either) and the b roll was mostly stuff we’ve seen already. Although according to some fan translations Hamaguchi did say they’re thinking of adding options to the game when it comes to dialing back the heavy handed guidance due to player feedback. That’s nice to hear! In the mean time you can check out my reactions to all the FF7 Revelation chapter 1 stuff in my recent video. Have a good weekend and stay safe!

Naoki Hamaguchi has confirmed that they won’t have any stage presentations at this year’s Tokyo Game Show since the Square Enix booth doesn’t have a stage. So it looks like the IGN interview is all that’s taking place, unless they drop a new trailer online.

The finale for Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is upon us. On Sunday September 6th the final chapter in the FF7 campaign will release. Naoki Hamaguchi has confirmed that they are offering a hands on demo for Final Fantasy 7 Revelation at gamescom which means previews and impressions will be rolling out soon. If you guys would like me to do a roundup of all the impressions when they hit please let me know. I’m never sure how interested people are in previews and impressions.

Hamaguchi and the cast of Final Fantasy 7 Revelation will be doing a panel at New York Comic Con on October 8th! Looks like it’ll be a packed event. No word yet on if it’ll be streamed, but since they did stream the previous NY Comic Con panel for Rebirth I think it’s a possibility!
