A World for Women of Color to Embrace Their Sensual, Sexual, & Spiritual Selves

Kay Lové : The Sensual Experience

Softness was never a weakness.

If anything, it holds one of the greatest powers. It can live and stand on its own without the need for brute force.

It’s a love language, a way of being, a calling.

It’s subtle. But sometimes, subtly can walk the loudest in a room.

Softness doesn’t have to be over the top, but it can be. It doesn’t have to quiver or shrink, but it can still silently roar.

I think for me, softness is more than just being delicate. It’s being able to sit in your power—knowing when to stand firm and also knowing when to back off. Knowing when to rest, laugh, be at peace, have joy, and pleasure.

It may not be the obvious choice, but it’s there. Not underneath the shadows, but in the dim light, waiting to be explored.

What does softness mean to you?
