Marek Media
I’m Marek — entrepreneur, builder and someone who believes ideas only matter when you actually do something with them.
For years I’ve been building businesses, brands and projects.
Now I’m documenting one of the biggest things I’ve ever started: Level Ground — an inclusive holiday destination we’re building from zero in Italy.
A place where people with and without disabilities can come together, relax, have fun and make memories.
On this channel you’ll see the real journey — business, mindset, ideas, problems, failures, progress and the people behind it all.
No polished story. No pretending we have everything figured out.
Just building, learning and figuring it out as we go.
Follow the journey.

So… who am I, and why am I doing this?
I’m Marek. I’m 40, originally from Slovakia, and I now live in Italy. 🇸🇰🇮🇹
For more than 20 years, I’ve been building things — managing projects, developing products, and helping create and grow companies, businesses and brands internationally.
But this time, it’s different.
Together with my best friend Simon, we’ve started one of the biggest projects we’ve ever taken on.
It’s called Level Ground.
And I don’t want to build it behind closed doors and then simply say, “Here it is.”
I want you to see the journey.
The ideas.
The problems.
The things we get wrong.
The things we learn.
And eventually, the place we create.
Because we believe we can build something that brings people together, creates memories, and helps create a better future and a more inclusive society.
So if you want to see where this goes…
Follow us. Get involved. Tell us what we're missing. Challenge our ideas.
And maybe, together, we can build something that really matters.
This is Level Ground. And we're only at the beginning. ❤️

Looking ahead,
not because it’s certain
—but because staying still
is no longer an option.
I don’t have all the answers.
I just refuse to stop
searching for them

You’re not lazy.
You settled into comfort to protect yourself, even though deep down you know you’re meant for more.

This photo was taken late, after another long day of building something that doesn’t exist yet.
No big wins.
No viral posts.
No flood of messages.
Just quiet work, doubts, and showing up anyway.
I think we don’t talk enough about this phase — the part where you’re doing everything “right”, but nothing is talking back yet.
I’m building a community for people who want to grow, learn, and not do this alone. Slowly. Properly.
If you’re also in that in-between phase — working hard, questioning yourself, but not quitting — you’re not behind. You’re early.
Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is keep going when no one is clapping yet.

Hard times don't mean you are failing or that you should give up, hard times are opportunities to grow, learn and understand, embrace them
