Heya! It's Shaggy here!

Today, we uploaded our collab with Merrivius!

We helped him set up his very own merch store for his hit webcomic "Elf Comic" and he was nice enough to use the profits to commission us to make an animated version of one of his comics!

Hannah animated it all herself, Shannon Hobby (the voice of Satina) voiced the Elf, and I even got to voice the Orc!

Hi everyone! This is Hannah speaking, just wanted to make a post about the channel to explain/clear some things up.

First off, I wanted to address the name change of the channel from my own name to ScumHouse since I don't think I addressed it yet! This channel used to be my personal channel where I uploaded assignments from my animation college (i think it literally just defaulted to my full name because i used my school email to make the account lol), but since Satina exploded in popularity and my team had grown since the Glass of Water days, I had been wanting to change it for some time but I was worried about affecting the "branding", so to speak. That's no longer the case, so as of this change (it happened a little while ago), this channel is now representative of our whole animation studio, so any animations we make under the studio's name will appear here.

This is why there have been more animations uploaded that we were hired to make - we have been busy taking on animation jobs from various places in order to pay the bills, since it's hard to make a living solely with ad revenue and merch sales from our channel with the pace that we had been uploading videos at. Our studio has been growing because of this - ScumHouse is now officially an LLC and we have been getting a steady amount of work and growing our team, which is awesome! We are on a path to becoming self-sustaining, but it will take a little while before we fully reach that point. We hope you enjoy these animations even though they're a bit different from what we've uploaded to the channel in the past, I'm still immensely proud of them and I'm proud of where ScumHouse is at at this point in time.

Allow me to talk about myself and Satina for a bit - for those of you who have been subbed to the Patreon, you may remember that the last post I made on there was about Satina being on hiatus. It's been a couple years and this is still the case. To summarize for those who haven't seen the post, all work on Satina has been suspended indefinitely since I've been working at Adult Swim. To be honest, I had been burnt out from trying to maintain my status as a front-facing YouTube microcelebrity while also working a day job and pursuing my career outside of the internet, so I quietly took a step back. This is the reason I have been less involved in a lot of our recent videos. Regardless, I'm very grateful that we can still keep the channel going even while I've been busy with other stuff. Rest assured I will always have some level of involvement in all of our videos, whether I'm in an animation or executive producer role or otherwise, and this channel will always be co-owned by me and the same core team (Shaggy, Arnold, and Lars), as it has always been since Bring Your Demon to Work Day.

An additional note about the Patreon - I've seen some people commenting on the fact that the Satina page has been taken down. Don't worry too much about this! When I officially put Satina on hiatus, I also mentioned in that post that I would be pausing the Patreon since I didn't want to take people's money while we weren't working on it for the sake of fairness. Annoyingly, Patreon only lets you do this for one month at a time, so I had to remember to keep pausing it and sometimes I would forget and have to refund people when their contributions were going through. To make my life easier, I just unpublished the page without deleting the whole thing, so I can bring it back whenever I want to.

There are a lot of you still wondering where Satina is and when it's coming back, and while I appreciate the love and enthusiasm for the show, unfortunately I don't have an answer yet. I sincerely thank every single person who has watched and enjoyed and shared Satina, and I hope the episodes we've made continue to bring you joy. This isn't the official end of Satina or anything, I just want to set expectations for everyone going forward that, even if there's less Satina on the channel then there used to be, we're still cooking up some cool stuff and we hope you tune in and enjoy our work. If you want to see more of my personal stuff, I am most active on Twitter (and you can follow the subsequent links to my other socials on there), and I also have a personal YouTube channel where I will upload my own solo animations (whenever I can find the time to do them haha, hoping to put more stuff on there soon).

Hello everyone! I keep forgetting about the community tab here on Youtube so allow me to give everyone a little update.
It's father's day! And as the father of this channel, I have done a bit of cleaning up just now - you may notice all of our streams are gone/unlisted. This is because I thought they kinda overpowered what little videos we have uploaded here. Getting them out of the way makes things a little bit easier to navigate for people who just want to watch our animations. For people who still wanted to watch them (for whatever reason), fear not! We will upload them to an archive channel shortly, and you can watch them all there in all their chaotic glory. We will still be doing streams on this channel, but from now on once they're done, we'll be unlisting and uploading them to the second channel right away.
