Welcome to His Learning & Taught Ones
This channel is dedicated to the careful study of Scripture through historical, linguistic, and textual research, encouraging every seeker to examine the evidence and pursue truth. We believe by seeking the Anointed One, that each person will be equipped to develop in their spiritual walk and draw closer to the Father. As each person draws closer, their lives will be used to draw others to the Father.
Our mission is to point all who seek truth to **The Khristos**, who declared, **"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." (John 14:6)
He is also revealed in Revelation 3:14{Modified Translation}:
"These things says the Amen, the Witness, the Faithful One, the True One, the Judge (Arbiter, Justice-Giver, One Who Judges) of the creation of the Eternal Hidden One, the Hidden Creator, the Invisible Creator, the Unseen Sovereign, and the Hidden Source of All."

## đź“– What Do We Do When Scripture Challenges What We Know About the Father's Goodness?
**Are we committed to defending everything written in the Bible, or are we committed to discovering the truth—even when that truth challenges what we have been taught?**
As we continue studying the Scriptures, we may encounter passages that raise serious questions about the loving, just, merciful, and righteous character of the Father.
For example, what do we do when a biblical passage appears to permit human slavery, the ownership of another person, or physical punishment that we would consider unjust today?
Do we automatically defend the passage because it appears in the Bible? Do we attempt to explain it away? Or do we allow ourselves to ask whether every instruction attributed to the Father truly reflects His character?
**These are questions worth asking—not avoiding.**
đź’ **LET'S THINK ABOUT THIS:**
âť“ If the Father is righteous and just, should we question teachings that appear to contradict those attributes?
âť“ Can a biblical writer accurately communicate spiritual truth in one passage while reflecting the cultural beliefs and practices of his time in another?
âť“ Is recognizing human influence within Scripture the same as rejecting the Father?
âť“ Who determined that every biblical book was divinely inspired, and what evidence supports those decisions?
âť“ Should religious tradition determine what we believe, or should truth withstand careful examination?
âť“ Are we willing to reconsider long-held beliefs when the evidence challenges them?
### 🌿 Some Suggestions for Handling Difficult Biblical Passages
**1. Don't be afraid to ask questions.** Genuine examination requires the freedom to investigate without fear or condemnation.
**2. Examine the original languages and historical context.** Determine what the passage actually says rather than automatically accepting traditional interpretations.
**3. Distinguish between the Father's direct commands, a writer's claims, historical narratives, and human traditions.** They should not automatically be treated as identical.
**4. Examine the teachings of the Son of Man.** Consider what He directly taught about love, mercy, justice, righteousness, and how we treat one another.
**5. Don't force contradictions into agreement.** If two passages appear to communicate conflicting moral principles, acknowledge the tension and investigate it.
**6. Remain willing to reconsider.** We should be careful not to defend a position simply because we have believed it for many years.
### ❤️ A Final Thought
**Truth does not require us to abandon our ability to reason, question, or discern.**
We can honor the Father while carefully examining the writings that claim to represent Him.
Perhaps one of the most important questions we should ask is:
**“Am I defending the character of the Father—or am I defending a religious interpretation that I have been taught to associate with Him?”**
Our commitment should be to truth, righteousness, justice, mercy, and love—not merely to preserving tradition.
📖 *“Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.”* — John 17:17
đź’¬ **I'd love to hear your thoughts!**
When you encounter something in Scripture that appears inconsistent with the Father's goodness, how do you respond? Do you question it, research it, seek another interpretation, or accept it because it is written?
**Let's have a thoughtful, respectful conversation.**

What most often competes with your ability to seek the Father with your whole heart?

Within Jeremiah 29:13, our attention should be drawn to the word **whole**. We are instructed to seek our Father with our whole heart—with undivided attention, sincere devotion, and a heart that is not divided among competing priorities.
In these times, this may be one of the most challenging instructions to follow. Daily work, family responsibilities, personal goals, entertainment, sales, social media, and the constant pressure to remain productive and visible can all compete for our attention. Worry, distraction, and the desire to feel valued can gradually occupy the place that belongs to our Father.
Yet seeking Him is what truly matters. We should examine our priorities carefully so that, like the warning recorded in Daniel 5:27, we are not spiritually “weighed in the balances and found wanting.” May we never be found lacking in our relationship with our Father because temporary pursuits were given greater attention than the One who gives us life. Let us seek Him sincerely, consistently, and with our whole heart.
