✝️ First Saturday Devotion to the Immaculate Heart (prayers) — https://youtu.be/Pm14NWDuJww
Reminder! First Friday & Saturday are this week.
Deepen your spiritual life and draw closer to the hearts of Jesus and Mary through the powerful First Friday and First Saturday devotions. These beautiful practices offer a path to profound grace and spiritual growth.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus promises abundant blessings, including peace, consolation, and assistance at the hour of death, to those who faithfully observe nine consecutive First Fridays.
Similarly, Our Lady extends her maternal protection and the promise of salvation to those who commit to five consecutive First Saturdays in honor of her Immaculate Heart.
*MORE INFORMATION:*
The FIRST FIRDAY DEVOTION TO THE SACRED HEART is prayed on nine consecutive first Fridays of the month. The requirements are attending Mass, receiving Holy Communion with the intention of making reparation to the Sacred Heart, and going to Confession around that time. After completing the nine, Jesus promised special graces including the grace of final perseverance.
The FIRST SATURDAY DEVOTION TO THE IMMACULATE HEART is prayed on five consecutive first Saturdays of the month. The requirements are receiving Holy Communion, going to Confession within eight days before or after, praying five decades of the Rosary, and spending fifteen minutes meditating on the Rosary mysteries. Our Lady promised special graces to those who complete it.
You find more information about both of these devotions on our website - www.thecatholiccrusade.com/

✝️ I Love Thee, O My God — https://youtu.be/8IAYgfhGu_U
How can we keep loving God when we are suffering?
“I Love Thee, O My God” is attributed to St. John Vianney, the Curé of Ars, a parish priest who spent long hours in the confessional and gave his whole life to loving God. This prayer is blunt about it. Dying while loving God is better than living a single moment without Him. The only thing it fears is a life without that love. It is also honest about our limits. Words can fail, so the heart is asked to keep saying it with every breath. The prayer ends by asking that this love keep growing and be perfected as life draws to its close.
Today, we invite you to come join us in praying "I Love Thee, O My God," asking God that our love keep growing and be perfected as life draws to its close.

✝️ PRAYERS FOR THE SOULS IN PURGATORY — youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3...
November is the Church’s month for praying for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. These souls are saved and destined for Heaven, but they are still being purified, and they cannot help themselves. We can help them.
From the earliest centuries, the Church has taught that our prayers, Masses, and acts of charity benefit the souls in Purgatory, which is why praying for them is called a spiritual work of mercy. Our prayers can hasten their entrance into heavenly glory, and it is a long-held Catholic belief that the souls we pray for remember us in return before God.
We have compiled this collection of prayers and devotions for anyone interested in participating in this monthlong solemn devotion.

*** NOVENA FOR SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 01:
✝️ Souls in Purgatory (DAY 9) — https://youtu.be/7b35JLy1H-g?t=2786
† SOULS IN PURGATORY †
The Church teaches that the souls in Purgatory are members of the Body of Christ who died in God’s friendship but still need purification before entering the fullness of heaven. They cannot help themselves, which is why the Church urges us to pray for the dead, to offer Masses, almsgiving, and indulgences on their behalf, and to remember them especially in November.
Praying for the souls in Purgatory is a spiritual work of mercy, one of the most charitable things we can do, since these souls rely on the prayers of the living. As Scripture says in 2 Maccabees 12:46, “It is therefore a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead, that they may be loosed from sins.” Every prayer offered for them is an act of love that helps bring them closer to the joy of seeing God face to face, and one day they will gladly pray for us in return.
