If you upload my recordings without permission, release altered copies, impersonate this project, or use Let Babylon Burn to pass your releases off as mine—expect action.

LET BABYLON BURN is a registered trademark in Norway. This name represents years of work. It is not yours to hijack.

I have a team handling these cases. We document the evidence, report unauthorised releases, pursue takedowns, and escalate through legal channels where appropriate. We have already had releases removed. We will keep going.

Slowing a recording down, speeding it up, changing its title, or hiding behind another profile does not give you my permission. Wherever you operate, do not mistake distance for protection.

If you think I’ll get tired and let you get away with it, you’ve badly misjudged me. I have no sympathy for people deliberately taking someone else’s work and collecting the money.

I give most of what I earn away to an orphanage anyway. This music supports more than just me. So if you’re knowingly stealing it and pocketing the proceeds—kindly go fiddle yourself in whatever imaginary key you haven’t stolen yet.

My team handles the takedowns. You can handle the farewell tour of your fake catalogue. No encore. Just takedowns.

Let Babylon Burn

He was my teacher when I was ten. Now I’m helping his words reach people in other languages.

I met Jan Arild Gundersen in a mountain valley in southern Norway, long before Let Babylon Burn existed.

Years later, his books and my songs touch on many of the same things: loss, difficult choices, and feelings that can be hard to put into words. We share a simple hope—that someone reading a page or listening to a song might feel a little less alone.

His book, “Når den eneste veien er gjennom”—“When the Only Way Is Through”—explores the choices we make, the burdens we carry, and how we affect the people around us.

There’s a line on his website that belongs here too:

“There is no way around life. Only a way through.”

I’m helping translate his book into several languages, with more translations on the way. It means something to me to be able to support my old teacher, and I wanted to introduce his work to this community.
