This photo is from around the time I started this channel 10 years ago.

At that point, I had no idea what would happen - I just knew that I had more to give than I was giving. There's still a video live on this channel of me celebrating 1,000 subscribers like I'd just won a free lifetime supply of shawarma.

Fast-forward to today and now I just crossed 700,000 subscribers. It's an incomprehensible number. A few of these milestones I've just let slide by (because it's a bit cringey to celebrate these isn't it) - but sitting to think about it I can't help but feel fortunate to do this.

I'm privileged to have the chance to speak to so many of you & share what I know. I'm privileged to be able to spread scientific literacy and promote critical thinking. I'm privileged to help people understand their bodies better in sickness and in health.

Thank you for giving me these privileges. I want you to know that I value this opportunity and what you have given me more than you know.

I'm working with BBC World News & Niox to spread awareness about delays in asthma diagnosis & its mismanagement (especially as we get into winter).

They are looking for someone outside of Europe who has experience with having a delayed diagnosis of Asthma or mismanagement that would be open to an interview. This would be part of a wider global project on the topic!

I'm looking to interview a couple of people with low support needs autism for a long-form video called "The Benefits of Autism".

For this, I want to find out about your experience living with autism, how you feel it has affected you and any parts of this neurotype you have seen as positives/have helped you gain success.

Examples that might prompt some ideas are:
1) direct methods of communication (can be both a positive and negative depending on the situation)
2) A specialist interest you have (maybe you turned it into a career?)
3) Attention to detail/hyperfocus
4) Resisting peer pressures
5) Loyalty & dedication

Calling people with ADHD - do you want to help raise awareness about your experiences?

I'm making a long form video on what I call the "paradoxes of ADHD" like:
- distractibility and hyperfixation
- trouble sleeping but also increased energy levels
- feeling lack of direction but also entrepreneurial drive
