WHAT YOU’RE LOOKING AT ISN’T JUST A COCKPIT… IT’S A CLASSROOM.
Flying a Boeing 737 isn’t about memorizing hundreds of buttons.
Pilots train to understand systems, procedures, communication, teamwork and decision-making and to know what to do when things don’t go as planned.
That’s why simulator training is so important. It allows pilots to practise situations that would be too dangerous to deliberately recreate in a real aircraft.
For Captain JP, every simulator session isn’t just about learning to fly…
It’s about learning how pilots THINK.

Why? Fuel is heavy. Carrying unnecessary fuel makes the aircraft heavier, which can make it burn even more fuel.
That's why every flight's fuel is carefully calculated, including the journey, weather, possible diversions and required reserves.
