From popular tunes to powerful worship - Resound Parody produces thoughtful, poetic rewrites of classic Disney songs.
Disney tunes have captivated hearts for generations. Why not use them as a megaphone to make the story of Christ resound across the internet?
I'm not doing this for entertainment but for worship. I'm not trying to replace the beloved Disney songs, just to leverage their potential. And I'm certainly not trying to detract from the many amazing Christian musicians creating original worship songs. That's not something I personally can do - but I CAN use creative word-smithing and visual design to create something unique. Something that will hopefully inspire worship and point people to the beauty of the gospel story.
Artful parody.
Thoughtful parody.
Parody that points to Christ.

A glimpse at my process!
Usually I do all the artwork myself. But for this video, I've had the blessing to start with the incredibly creative concept design and storyboarding done by another artist.
Then using a digital drawing app, I've been changing his sketches to ink, adding backgrounds, editing the flow, and creating a few of my own pictures from scratch to fill in gaps.
Every step has been 100% God-given human creativity - no generative AI whatsoever!
I'm super excited to share this new video with you all soon!
Grace and peace,
Hannah

Hi everyone! I know it's been several months since I posted a song, and I appreciate your patience. Life has been crazy lately and I haven't been able to devote as much time to video artwork, but I wanted to let you know I haven't given up! Thank you also to those who donated on the GoFundMe page - it's been super helpful. Lord willing, you should be seeing a new song very soon! There's a Mulan song I'm almost finished with, and several others in various phases of development. Thanks for all your support and encouragement. Grace and peace, Hannah

We know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus... Therefore we do not lose heart! (2 Corinthians 4:14,16)
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? (Romans 8:33-33)
✝️ Happy Resurrection Day! ✝️

Here's a peek at a few of the songs I've already drafted lyrics for! If you're excited about seeing these popular tunes turned into powerful worship, please consider supporting the work: gofund.me/a2e6b1252.
Let me explain why help is needed. Each song this channel produces takes hours of time and effort. I write the lyrics myself and create the artwork by hand. Then I look for talented musicians I can hire to sing the vocals. I'm not looking to make any money off this channel, and everything donated goes straight to the production of the songs (and also supports some amazing artists and musicians). With more funding, I can release songs more often, and maintain the high quality their message deserves.
My goal in all this is simply to honor Jesus and share his truth in a unique way.
Honestly. I've been amazed at what God has done with this channel so far. Thank you for being a part of it!!
In Him,
Hannah

What do you get when you mix Cinderella, Noah's Ark, and Hebrews 11?
The latest Resound Christian rewrite!!!
Thanks for your patience on this one. We have had an insane amount of unexpected delays (honestly it's kind of ironic, given that it's a song about waiting for things unseen). But we're in sight of the finish line now and hoping to post this week!
Update: it's here! https://youtu.be/f2Q6sJk1kcU?si=yiA6p...
(Also working simultaneously on a song for Good Friday...Thanks for all your prayers and support!)
