WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE HERE?

Is there something you’d like me to talk about on The Queer Hermit?

Queer solitude, growing older as a gay man, off-grid living, stretching the pantry—or something you’ve been thinking about that we haven’t touched on yet?

If you come here for the love stories, I’d like to hear from you too. Is there a setting, a way of life, or a challenge you’d like to see two men face together?

I can’t promise every suggestion will become a video, but I’d like to know what interests you.

Leave an idea in the comments. A simple thought is enough.

WELCOME TO THE QUEER HERMIT

I’m Robert. I live off-grid in the West Virginia woods at a place I call Dogwood Meadows, with three dogs, a cat, and a life that suits me.

Here, I share thoughts on queer solitude, simple living, growing older, and finding connection on our own terms. You’ll also find gay love stories about capable men whose lives change because they find something worth building together.

Some days we talk about making a pantry stretch or living with less. Other days we consider what it means to enjoy your own company, begin again, or let someone into a life you’ve learned to love.

You don’t have to live in the woods to feel at home here. Perhaps you enjoy a quieter pace. Perhaps you’re learning what you want your own life to look like. Or perhaps you simply came for a good story.

I’m glad you found your way here.

Tell me what brought you to The Queer Hermit—and what you’d like to hear more about.
