Neil Chan Guitar

Hey guitarists, CHANNEL UPDATE here! I'm renaming this channel to 'Neil Chan Guitar' as we will now be laser focused on all things guitar... guitar... GUITAR!

Content is going to stay the same (in fact it's going to become better), with the goal of helping YOU become a better guitarist AND musician!

Lots of exciting videos coming your way, including guitar lessons, song tutorials, guitar features and gear reviews.

I will soon have a separate channel for my original music and other artistic content which will be called 'Neil Chan Music'. (It's now called 'Neil Chan Fusion')

Thanks for all your kind support so far. Every single view/like/comment matters and I couldn't do it without your kind support.

With love,
~ Neil

Hey guitarists! Just posted a new lesson on the FIRST chords every beginner needs (and how to develop them as you advance). If you’re starting out or want a refresher, do check it out!

Which chord do you struggle with the most?

Hi everyone! Thank you for your immense support and response to my recent videos. I'm really glad that they have been so helpful to you.

I've been posting 3 videos a week on Mon, Wed, and Fri. It's been great but it's a little hard to keep up, so I'm going to be posting 2 videos a week on Mon and Thu from now on.

With this extra time, I intend to create the intermediate and advanced levels of my Fingerstyle For The World course for all of you! (Right now, I've completed just the beginner level)

Oh and also... I'm cooking up lots of music videos for all of you! These will go on a separate MUSIC channel which I will share soon!

Deep down inside, are you an acoustic or electric player?

Dearest subscribers, I need your help! I know many of you enjoy my guitar lessons, and I will continue making them. However as an artist I also want to share my music performance videos, and I am torn between making a separate channel for that or keeping it all on this channel.

Please please do help me by answering honestly, it will go a long way in helping me decide. Thank you!! 😊

Woo! I'm really glad you're all enjoying the fusion shorts, especially the Carnatic ones! I'm delving deep into folk music, and fusing the different world music cultures. SO eager to share more music with all of you :)

Really excited to share a new video tomorrow! It's a little different, where I share my thoughts using world music as a storytelling device. It'll be on the topic 'What Makes Music Music?', where I discuss what actually defines music and how we can differentiate music from noise. See you tomorrow!
