Hi, I'm Jackie. I'm a self-taught product/industrial designer based in Brooklyn, building a career one prototype at a time.
This channel is the honest version of learning to design real products — sketching ideas, working through perspective and rendering, prototyping in foam and 3D-printed parts, figuring out what's worth selling, and the long, unglamorous middle where most of the work actually happens.
I'm not a guru. I'm somewhere ahead of where I started and behind where I want to be, and I share the whole walk.

I designed and created a metal solid body aluminum desk tray in parternship with PCBWay. If you've watched the previous video, you'll know I was giving one away. Hi guys!
I wanted to put out a quick notice in case you were looking forward to a video this week. Unfortunately there won't be one since I'm moving! There's a lot to sort out with my move so I didn't have the time to film. But hopefully we will be back on track coming soon.
On another note, I've actually been kind of lost on this channel and what to create. I would love your input on what you'd like to see. Originally, I created this channel to post projects but I quickly realized that as my knowledge and skills become better, each project also takes more time to work through. Adhering to a schedule has been really hard which is why I started posting guides/ other related content which many of you seem to not enjoy.
Not sure if I should just stick to projects and ignore the schedule, make other content, or let me know what you'd like to see. I was thinking of just doing my lifestyle content but I'm not sure if that's what you'd like.
Let me know, that's all I had to say. Thanks for the support as always and hope you have a great day/evening wherever you are!
