Welcome to Joe's Drive-in! This channel is mainly focused on film through the series, well, Joe's Drive-in - where you never know what will be playing! Will it be something good, something bad, a review, a history lesson, or something completely different? You'll just have to wait and see for yourself! But that's not all either! I've been creating on YouTube for a super long time with a previous channel containing content dating all the way back to 2006, and I previously went by 469 Productions on this channel until 2022. While that channel doesn't need to be mentioned, ever, this channel also hosts whatever I've attempted over the years before settling on the Drive-in, along with other content. If you dig deep enough, you're find gaming, short films, memes, and more! And it's not always just me, every so often I'll collaborate with some of my friends and make something new. I have high hopes for the future of this channel. Enjoy!

Channel Update:
Just wanted to let you all know I'm alive. After reviewing the performance of the last few videos, I've been taking some time to really look at what I need to do to improve my content and make necessary changes. For those of you that are consistent viewers, don't worry. Joe's Drive-in isn't going away anytime soon, and I'll be back with new content as soon as possible with a fresh coat of paint. I've just needed to take some time to figure out what works and what doesn't. The first video to make that change in direction is currently being written, and I have a few other ideas I'm workshopping as well. Again, for those that have been watching, we'll be back to looking at movies across history soon enough. I just had to make some adjustments to try and bring in some new viewers. Once again I apologize for a long gap in content, but something is coming soon enough.
Completely unrelated, I've been very nostalgic for Pokémon lately. What's your favorite Gen 1 Pokémon? Go ahead and leave a comment, I'd love to know! Mine's Poliwhirl, by the way.

A little update for the viewers: currently editing a new Joe’s Drive-in video, hoping to get it all done soon enough to still be a February upload. If not it’ll definitely be in the first few days of March.
Also, just wanted to ask you all. What sort of videos do you want to see more of from me? You want more look backs on classic films? More modern films? More videos that dive into history (like my episodes on Li’l Abner, Wallace and Gromit, etc)? More non-specific topics like my public domain tapes video? More obscure movies? Or something completely different? I’d love to know what you wanna see so let me have it!

Hey there buddies, just wanted to give you all an update. Due to going on a previously scheduled extended vacation this past week and being swamped at my job in the months before it, I was unfortunately unable to complete this year’s Halloween marathon in time. As a result, tomorrow’s video as well as the other remaining 7 videos will be delayed. I do greatly apologize as I do pride myself on meeting the deadlines for these events every year, but it just wasn’t in the cards this time.
The good news is that you will still be getting 31 videos total for a Halloween marathon, it just may extend past Halloween and a little into November. The remaining videos will be uploaded as completed rather than daily if I can help it and I will do the best I can to get them to you as quick as possible, but still retain the level of the previous videos in the marathon. I would rather deliver a quality product late than cut corners for a poor product on time. I thank you for your patience.
Also, Epic Universe and Universal as a whole are awesome and I had a blast!

Get ready for this year's radical Halloween event! It's a hard rock horror show as we look at some of the most excellent horror films of the 1980s every day of October. Freddy, Jason, and other familiar faces are back at the drive-in, as well as some new additions both popular and obscure. Join me for a neon nightmare as 31 Days of Halloween: 80s Rewind starts October 1st!
Once again, I know there's been a lack of content lately, but I've been busting it for quite a while trying to make sure these videos get released without issue. Hopefully these 31 videos make up for the missing months of content. That being said, time has been a huge issue for me lately (blame my job). I really wanted to do a super cool promo video for this but I have to skip it to prioritize the main content. I'm doing my best to meet the deadline, and things are going well but I'm getting nervous about it. In the event there are any delays, I thank you in advance for your patience and worst case scenario is that these releases may overlap into November a little bit. I promise they will be finished either way and I always try my hardest not to disappoint and to not sacrifice quality.
In the meantime, stay tuned for what I have in store for you! What 80s horror do you look forward to seeing in this marathon? I would love to know!

As soon as I made that last post we finally hit 1,000! Oh my goodness, thank you everyone that’s supported me all this time! I’ve been making stuff on YouTube since the beginning back in like 2006, so I’ve been looking forward to this milestone for a long time. I appreciate everyone joining me on this journey of sharing things I love. I will make sure to keep creating to continue to deserve your support. As far as an update goes, please see my previous post. Although, I didn’t expect to hit 1k while I was typing that, so plans may change.
