We organised a Human Chain at our Delhi office to spread awareness about the importance of probity, integrity and ethical conduct under the theme โProbity for Prosperityโ, as part of the three-month Preventive Vigilance Campaign leading up to Vigilance Awareness Week 2026.

Sairam; Director (Marketing & HR โ Additional Charge), Shri Mukesh Choudhary; Director (Technical), Shri Achyut Ghatak; Director (Business Development), Shri Asheesh Kumar; Chief Vigilance Officer, Shri Brajesh Kumar Tripathy; and employees took part in the Vishwakarma puja organised at our corporate headquarters in Kolkata.
Our Director (Business Development), Shri Asheesh Kumar, administered the Swachhata pledge to all employees in the presence of our Director (Marketing/HR โ Additional Charge), Shri Mukesh Choudhary; Director (Technical), Shri Achyut Ghatak; and Chief Vigilance Officer, Shri Brajesh Kumar Tripathy, at the inaugural ceremony of Swachhata Hi Seva 2026, organised at our corporate headquarters in Kolkata.
The campaign will be observed from 17th September to 2nd October 2026 under the theme โSwachhata Mein Sahbhag; Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharatโ. During this period, a series of activities aimed at promoting cleanliness and spreading the message of Swachhata will be organised.
We are proud to share that we have been granted a patent for โBifacial Perovskite Solar Cells,โ our R&D innovation developed in collaboration with IIT Bombay.
These next-generation solar cells offer several promising advantages:

Our Chairman, Shri B. Sairam, visited Hurra C OCP and Rajmahal OCP of our subsidiary, Eastern Coalfields Limited.
At the outset, Shri Sairam visited Hurra C OCP, where he planted a sapling and inspected the Coal Handling Plant and mining operations. He then proceeded to Rajmahal OCP, where he took stock of the ongoing operations and the 10.5 MTY-capacity Coal Handling Plant currently under construction.
Later, he chaired a review meeting and emphasised the need to accelerate production and coal supplies.
Rajmahal OCP has registered over 10% growth in production and over 11% growth in OB removal so far this fiscal, compared with the corresponding period of the previous financial year. Production has already crossed 5 MT in FY 2026โ27.
Shri Satish Jha, CMD, ECL, along with the senior management of ECL, was also present on the occasion.
