2016: one thing you may not know about me is that in 2016 I was that crazy direct sales lady with a team of over 3,000 people under me. In 2016 I was just sweet a naive girl thinking I was changing the world by selling cleaning supplies and the MLM dream. I was a single mom who was able to make this my sole income for my family and made it to the VERY top of the company (literally couldnāt promote higher). While it was an amazing experience for me, I was definitely delusional in thinking just anyone could do the same thing I did and go from struggling single mom on food stamps to making 5 figures a month by selling cleaning cloths. I have very mixed feelings about this time of my life because direct sales literally changed my life, but I know most people donāt have this experience. But in 2016 I genuinely thought I could change everyoneās life and they could make 5 figures monthly too. The company I was a part of literally let people sign up for free and encouraged people to NOT keep stock so as far as I know people didnāt go into debt with this particular company. But I know thatās not the case for most MLM/ direct sales companies.
Overall it was an amazing experience for me until I quit and hundreds of people who I considered my friends/co workers shunned me overnight as if I had the plague. It was awful giving up all of that money, but I got to a point where I knew what I was selling, the dream of getting rich quick, wasnāt actually attainable for 99% of people. I couldnāt in good faith continue with the company any longer and gave up my entire income to start over. There was a brief period where I tried a different MLM company but after 3 months realized they are all the same, and some are actually worse than others.
I donāt really know the point in me sharing this other than I donāt really talk about it ever on here and wanted to share a little of my lore with you guys.
Also werenāt Grace and TJ so cuteeeee (the last pic)

Hey guys we donāt have tonightās video ready. Will post next week Friday at 6pm eastern back on our regular schedule. Photo of me and Grace at the TS movie last night! I still canāt believe we got last minute tickets like that!
Sorry guys, not posting our long form tonight. One of the kids has been in the hospital with some asthma trouble. They are home now and doing a lot better, I just havenāt had time to edit. But back to our regular schedule of 6pm eastern every Friday next week.
From 2011 - 2015 I homeschooled the kids. (As a stay at home mom). Then I went through a divorce and had to put the kids in public school since I was suddenly a single mom (not receiving child support) and needed to start working to support my kids.
I grieved that loss for many years. Iāve tried on and off throughout the years to get back to it, but my schedule didnāt really allow it to work out.
5 weeks ago the kids asked to stop online school and switch to a homeschool we do together. I was nervous how it would work out because Iām still working āfull timeā, but honestly we have such a calm life now that we were easily able to fit it into our schedule, and Iām still able to work (run our social media and edit videos).
This was something I was honestly angry about loosing when I became a single mom, but it feels like life has come full circle. And I got back the thing I felt like I lost 8 years ago.
We have been learning about the digestive system and we did a project to determine which antacid best helps neutralize āstomach acidā. Surprisingly milk of magnesia won.
Iāve got a YT going up soon of all of the curriculum we picked out!
I did school with the kids while Dub sorted our mail from the last month. I got some work (editing) done in between lessons and on our drive to Sleeping Bear Dune, where we spent the afternoon/evening. After a scenic drive and quick 1.5 mile hike (to see that gorgeous view in the last pic- do you see the āsleeping Bearā)- we came back home and made gluten free spaghetti with marinara and broccoli for dinner.
Honestly, our days look very similar to when we were in our house but we just spend our afternoons and weekends exploring the country rather than running kids to practices, lots of homework, signing school folders and cleaning our huge house. I donāt really remember everything I did I mainly remember feeling exhausted and like there has to be more to life.
Definitely not saying those other afternoon activities are bad or lead to an unfulfilling life, I actually enjoyed a lot of the parts of those afternoons.
Even if itās not living in an RV, If you take any advice from our familyās journey, let it beā find what makes you and your family genuinely happyā not what the world says youāre āsupposedā to be doing. Who makes those rules anyways?
šØTrigger warning/ unaliving. Becoming a mom was literally the best thing that has ever happened in my life. I was a young mom, got pregnant at 19 about a year after my dad passed away. After he committed suicide my life was in shambles. I was on a very very wrong path and didnāt see what the purpose of living was. The day I found out I was pregnant, I was definitely shocked (I found out at my pediatricians office I thought I had a stomach virus⦠what I was doing at a pediatrician at 19, I still donāt know). But that was the day I knew there was more to live for. I know eventually I would have figured life out without becoming a mom, but this precious little life and becoming a mom gave me purpose and joy like Iāve never felt before. It was very hard being a young mom, and definitely donāt recommend as an intentional way to cope with pain, there are lots of other ways that are definitely easier. But for me, becoming a mom was the biggest blessing of my life. Hard yes, but so so beautiful.
Happy Motherās Day to all the mommas out there loving and fighting for your babies. Being a mother is the most joyful and rewarding thing Iāve ever done, but also one of the hardest. I love my babies to infinity and beyond. Being their mom is the thing Iām most proud of in my life.
Happy Motherās Day to all the mommas, mother figures and anyone in a motherly role. š„°š„°
Happy 12th Birthday Gracie š„° When you came into the world, the world gained a pure soul. Youāre one of the kindest, most loving humans Iāve ever known. Iām so honored to be your mom. I canāt believe this is your last year until youāre a teenager. š„¹š„¹ ILY Grace
