2 Timothy 1:5, "when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also."
When God blesses a man, He has his generation (at least to the fourth generation) in view.
In our journey of faith with God, we should always have in mind that reproducing faith is one of the major ways to obey God's commandment in Genesis 1:28.
Jesus commanded us to make disciples of every nation in Matthew 28:19-20. This confirms that reproducing our faith in Christ is not only to our bloodline, but also to as many as we preach the gospel to.
