Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha

When Jupiter sits in the Lagna of your birth chart (D1) or Dashamsha chart (D10), life and career can go through a major transformation at some point.

And often, this transformation comes after you have already built a certain path for yourself.

I’ve observed that many people with this placement start their career in one field, study something completely different or settle into a seemingly stable profession

And then, suddenly, they take a 180-degree turn.

They may leave behind the path they have been following for years and completely change their direction in life.

And when you take such a sharp turn, life can shake a little. There may be confusion, regret, uncertainty, or even a temporary downfall.
But that dip does not last.

After the period of uncertainty, things begin to improve again. And these natives eventually rise even higher than before.

In my observations, this kind of major transformation often happens in the 20s or 30s.

The old path may no longer feel right, because Jupiter is pushing you towards something that is more aligned with your growth.

When Gurudev sits in the Lagna, He comes to teach you deep lessons.

He won't always shower you with blessings. Sometimes, he teaches with a stick too.

Jai Shri Ram.

Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha

But you may not be experiencing their benefits because your current Mahadasha isn’t activating those yogas.

Many times, people start working in careers that are astrologically well suited for them very early in life. Yet, they may not see significant results for 5, 10 or even 15 years.

And then suddenly, things begin to change.

Their Mahadasha changes, and the same efforts that once seemed to produce very little results can start bringing more opportunities, recognition and success.

One of the most important lessons I’ve learned in my astrology journey is that you cannot force the timing of your results. Until the right time arrives, your efforts may not produce the outcome you are hoping for.

But does that mean you should stop working hard? Absolutely not!

The efforts you put in today are not wasted. They may simply bear fruit later, when the time is right.

Always remember - It takes 10 years to become an overnight success.

Jai Shri Ram!

Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha

Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha

From my understanding, the answer is resilience. It is your ability to recover from difficulties and keep moving forward, no matter what happens.

There are phases in life that change you so deeply that, by the time they are over, you barely recognize yourself. Yet through all those changes, one thing remains the same. You did not give up. It may not have been easy, but you kept going and eventually made it through.

To me, Saturn represents an unshakable conviction.
"No matter what happens, I will endure."

I believe Saturn helps us develop this inner strength through the life experiences represented by the 8th house.

When life is going well, it is easy to stay disciplined and fulfill your responsibilities.
But the person who gets up and continues to do their duty even at the lowest point in life embodies the true spirit of Saturn.

Perhaps that is why Saturn is considered a significator of the 8th house.

Jai Shri Ram.

Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha

Shanidev does not only look at your karm, but also at the intention and emotions behind your actions.

This means that if you are doing something only for someone's validation, situations will repeatedly arise that force you to ask yourself why that person's validation is so important to you and how it is tied to your self-worth.

Shanidev does not create problems. He reveals the root cause of your problems, which can actually be tougher to deal with than the mere problem that appears on a superficial level.

But in reality, this can become a good starting point for questioning why you are doing those actions in the first place.

That is why many people may start questioning their career or relationship choices during Shani’s Dasha, because the unresolved emotions that they’ve buried deeply within begin to surface.

Shanidev's own journey teaches us the same lesson. He became the Devta of justice only after he did not avoid or try to bury the emotions related to his childhood and parents, and instead learned from his pain and moved forward.

Jai Shri Ram.

If you have these placements, let me know about your experience. 😊

*The entire birth chart needs to be studied before making a prediction. Mahadasha and Antardasha greatly influence when and how planetary results unfold. These are general observations based on patterns I have seen repeatedly in charts.

Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha

With these placements, emotional stability can play a major role in your career growth.

This is where inner work becomes very important.

Understanding what triggers you, why you seek validation from others, and how your emotional patterns influence your decisions can have a positive impact on your career as well.

At the same time, try to choose a career that feels emotionally fulfilling to you.

Behind-the-scenes roles or remote jobs may work well for you.

You may also be more productive when you have the space to work independently and peacefully, rather than being surrounded by constant noise and distractions.

Travelling can also work like a remedy for you, it can help you gain emotional clarity and a fresh perspective.

Regularly giving back to others through charity, volunteering with NGOs, or simply helping people in need can also support your personal and career growth.

It can create a stronger sense of purpose and connection.

One challenge I’ve often observed with these placements is an interesting internal conflict.

Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) and the Moksh Trikon (4th, 8th, and 12th houses) naturally have a “go with the flow” energy.

On the other hand, Shani represents structure, discipline, rules, and consistency.

So, there can often be a dilemma:

“Should I just let things flow naturally, or should I create more structure and routine in my life?”

The answer is: balance. (I honestly don’t know any other way out!)

You don’t have to suppress your emotional flexibility but you do need to create enough structure around your life and work so that you can remain consistent.

So, if you have these Shani placements, learn to create a work environment that supports your emotional well-being.

Give yourself the space to work peacefully, stay connected to your inner world, and build enough structure to keep yourself consistent.

Jai Shri Ram 🙏

Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha

For these Saturn placements, communication skills and innovative thinking can play a very important role in career growth.

Pay attention to how you present your ideas.

Are you communicating them clearly? Are you regularly experimenting with new approaches in your work? And most importantly, does your work intellectually stimulate you?

Your intelligence, ideas, and communication should play a major role in your professional life.

Your people skills are equally important.

Learning how to work in a team, maintain healthy client relationships, and understand the psychology of your target audience can help you grow professionally.

These skills can also help you market your products or services more effectively and build better professional relationships.

The ability to communicate your ideas is important, but so is understanding how other people think and respond.

One challenge I’ve observed with these placements is overthinking your ideas.

You may also constantly come up with so many new ideas that your physical energy struggles to keep up with the speed of your mind.

As a result, you may feel mentally or physically exhausted after working for only a short period of time.

That is why it is important to first write down all your ideas.

Then, sort through them and identify which ones are actually worth your time and energy.

Focus only on the ideas that have real potential.

So, if you have these Saturn placements, one of your important life lessons may be to learn how to filter and prioritize your ideas.

This is also a skill, and it is one you should consciously develop.

Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha

With these placements, career growth may require consistent effort, patience, and long working hours.

Success may come through doing repetitive tasks with discipline and showing up consistently, even when the work feels routine.

But there is another important thing to consider:

Are you receiving the salary, recognition, or growth that truly matches the effort you are putting in?

With these Saturn placements, it is important to stay practical about results. From time to time, evaluate your effort versus reward.

Look at what you are investing in your career and what you are actually getting in return.

Your time and long-term growth should also be a priority.

Working hard is important, but make sure your effort is being fairly compensated.

One challenge I’ve often observed with these placements is becoming too rigid about your career path.

Yes, Saturn in earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) and the 2nd, 6th, and 10th houses can make routine, structure, and discipline extremely important in your career.

But careers today are constantly evolving.

So, along with discipline, you also need adaptability. Build a strong foundation, but keep learning and evolving with time.

So, if you have these Saturn placements, one of your important life lessons may be to learn to balance consistency with flexibility so that your career can grow with you.

Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha

With these placements, paying attention to ethics, dharm, and fair conduct becomes especially important in your career.

Of course, ethical conduct is always important.

But with these placements, be particularly mindful of not harming someone else just to get your work done or achieve your goals.

You may also find that your career requires you to sincerely follow traditional rules and regulations, and established structures and systems at work.

Learning to work within these structures can become an important part of your professional growth.

Even if you want to try something new, learn to do it while still following the rules.

One challenge I’ve observed with these placements is hesitation in taking action.

Even when you know what the right thing to do is, you may sometimes struggle to act quickly.

This can be especially noticeable when it comes to standing up for yourself.

Why does this happen?

Both the fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) and the Dharm Trikon (1st, 5th, and 9th houses) carry a strong influence of Surya.

The Sun represents the king, while Saturn represents the servant.

This creates an interesting dynamic.

Saturn may take time to comfortably embody qualities such as authority, confidence, leadership, and self-assurance.

These qualities tend to develop through life experience.

So, if you have these Saturn placements, one of your important life lessons may be to learn to take ethical action for others and for yourself.
