After watching Lanterns, I think it was a mistake to move John Stewart's backstory from episode 5 to episode 3. Had they left it at 5, it would've made Stewart look more sympathetic and Hal Jordan more unhinged and arrogant (which was definitely the intention). By moving it to the middle of the story arc, it makes Stewart look entitled because he wants something that was never his to begin with. That said, it's a damn good show that apparently has no budget for aliens.
