After 7 years of travel, I finally reached my 100th country: ROMANIA 🇷🇴

This journey was by far the sickest, most challenging, eye-opening and transformative I’ve ever been on. Next month will also mark 5 years of full-time solo travel.

Through South and Central America (all over land), 2 years around Asia, almost all of mainland Europe, and 7 months through Africa. I don’t even know how to summarize all that without writing a book (maybe I should one day).

Dude, 100 countries. I still cannot believe it, because 5 years ago, I couldn’t even name 40 countries, I think. Trying to visit and document them all pushed me to places I would never have imagined existed, while meeting people from so many different backgrounds.

There are definitely a few things I’ve observed on this journey:

1. People are pretty much the same everywhere. We are only products of our environment.
2. The world is way bigger than I imagined. The more I travel, the more I realize I haven’t seen anything yet.
3. Growing up, I thought I was a victim. It took me a few years to realize all my privileges. Where you are born definitely impacts your freedom and options.
4. The more developing countries have the best hospitality and the most generous people. People also seem less depressed, more family-oriented, and have completely different values.
5. There are skaters everywhere. I haven’t been to a country without skaters yet.
6. I don’t think it’s possible for me to be in a relationship, as much as I would love to. Rarely do you find a person who really wants/can travel full-time around every country and skate pretty much every day.
7. Traveling solo makes you meet more people.
8. Every country is beautiful in its own way.
9. I don’t know… I’m getting tired after this 10-hour bus 😂

Anyway, if you read this far, first of all, thank you for being here.

It shows that you are curious about the world like me. If I can influence one thing in this fucked-up world, it’s this:

Go travel. Alone or with friends, lovers or family. It doesn’t matter. Just get out there, because life is short and it will make you grow as fuck.

I just turned 32, and honestly my last year felt like 5. I cannot believe I travelled to 40 new countries in only one year. From the Caribbean to Europe, to Central Asia, to Africa and then back to Europe. What a fucking trip it has been. So much shit happened, so many people met and so many skate scenes documented.

This was the route the last 365 days (just the countries, not the cities):

I’m trying my best to document every skate culture on the planet. I am destroyed mentally and physically, and I just want to let you know that I really care and I always try my best.

YouTube removed my latest video about skateboarding in Kenya. They said it was promoting harmful and dangerous acts (skateboarding).

I’ve been struggling these past few months to make these videos happen. It’s a lot of work for one person, and it takes both time and money. So having a local project that I worked so hard on get deleted really sucks.

People who know me understand how much I care about my videos. I do this out of passion and love.

ButI’m not gonna just post stuff and pretend I’ve been this great perfect person all the time.

I’ve acted out of ego, emotion, impulse. I’ve made decisions I regret. I’ve hurt people, handled things badly, and avoided stuff I should’ve faced. That’s on me.
Really, no excuse

Lately I’ve been realizing I’m not as “good” or “put together” as people might think online. Mentally I’ve been struggling more than I show, and it’s forced me to look at my patterns instead of running from them.

I’m just trying to be honest . I know I need to change some things about how I move, how I react, and how I treat people . I’m trying to actually work on that, not just talk.

Growth is uncomfortable, but staying the same is worse.

Made it to country #75 | Egypt.
One of my wildest dreams was to stand here. When I started this journey, I just wanted to see how far I could push myself. After traveling solo to 75 countries, I know now that anything is possible.

Skateboarding has taken me everywhere, from the deserts of Kazakhstan, the jungles of Jamaica, the mountains of Nepal, the favelas of Brazil, my dream streets in Barcelona, tiny villages in India, and so many places in between.

I’ve sacrificed almost everything I knew to get here. Traveling like this isn’t always sunshine and rainbows. I’m not chasing comfort anymore, I’m chasing the rough moments and the pain, because that’s where you learn and grow. Every stressful situation I survive makes the next country count even more.

I just want to make a difference in the lives of the people I meet. It’s not just skateboarding. It’s culture, connection, understanding, learning.

And the crazy part? The more I travel, the more I realize I haven’t seen anything yet. This world is massive and beautiful.

Today I celebrate 4 years on the road. I started this trip alone in Guatemala on October 6, 2021. Back then, I just wanted to get better and feel better. My drug addiction and alcoholism were making me a very bad and sad person. I had to change everything in my lifestyle to learn how to love myself again.

I’ve always been curious about the world, but 4 years ago I would have never believed I’d come this far. Being sober, visiting 67 countries, having my dream job making videos, and skateboarding nearly every day. I’m beyond grateful for this life.

I found purpose documenting and helping the skateboarding community around the world. I’ve made a lot of sacrifices to be where I am. I destroyed my body and my mental health. I suffer from loneliness, stress, and anxiety, but I wouldn’t change a thing.

I’m not chasing happiness or easy things anymore. I want to accomplish something for myself and help as many people as I can.

4 years on the road and almost 4 years sober. Cheers to the next 4. Believe in yourself and your wildest dreams and with enough sacrifice, you can accomplish anything ❤️

I turned 31 today! I had to realise one of my
Dream

I’ve always dreamed of starting my own nonprofit to help skaters get the gear they need.

Now, at 31, I’m basically homeless—but my mission to give back is stronger than ever. I’m starting this fundraiser to raise money for skate equipment I can buy directly from local skate shops in the countries I visit. That way, we support both the skaters and the local skate economy .

Next week, I’m hosting an event in the Dominican Republic. I have almost nothing to give away, and honestly… it breaks my heart. I don’t even have proper shoes for myself, but I don’t want to show up empty-handed.
