My friend RealBreakingNate and I spent an entire week visiting countless card stores across Tokyo, Nagoya, and Kyoto in an attempt to complete the NATIONAL POKEDEX of Pokémon cards! To make things more interesting, Nate and I introduced challenges along the way that could potentially set us back in our quest to complete our binders. These challenges added an extra layer of excitement and unpredictability to our journey ahead.
Each city had its own unique charm and a plethora of cards from different generations and sets, ranging from vintage to modern. We tackled stacks of cards in secondhand stores, stumbled upon rare finds in some of Japan's most iconic card stores, and even visited some secret card shops known only to the most dedicated collectors.
