In 2025, trust isn't just part of your B2B strategy: trust IS the strategy.

Max Altschuler saw this coming years before anyone else. And while everyone chased metrics and click-through rates, he was quietly building the infrastructure where real B2B decisions actually happen.

His casual email about raising a community-backed fund with a small group of trusted operators in 2021 transformed into a $54 million fund backed by 300+ operators from AWS, OpenAI, and Snowflake. This is what happens when you build trust at scale.

Most people think Max's story starts with GTMfund. But it goes back further - to when he was employee #8 at Udemy, figuring out sales with zero experience and zero resources.

"We needed to do more with less. We didn't have the resources, we didn't have the headcount, we didn't have the money."

Most would've followed the standard playbook. More cold calls. More emails. More of the same.
But Max did something different.

That led to Sales Hacker - growing to 170,000+ subscribers before being acquired by Outreach in 2018.

By then, he had already spotted a pattern:

The best deals and biggest decisions weren't happening in formal sales processes. They were happening in trusted networks, way before any contact form got filled out.

Today, he's built what modern B2B actually runs on - a trust community where real decisions happen.

In today’s documentary and newsletter, I break down:

➛ Why 73% of buying decisions happen before vendors know about them
➛ How Max accidentally built B2B's most powerful trust network
➛ The exact frameworks he uses to spot winning companies
➛ How he built a $76M+ venture fund from a simple email
➛ What's next for B2B decision-making in an AI world

The old B2B playbook is dead. You can't track everything. You can't attribute everything.

But you CAN influence it by being present in the right communities.

I Accidentally Started a Podcast Called GTM Snacks… Here’s How It Happened 🍿

I was on a call with Andreas Wernicke after Brendan Short told me I had to connect with him re: Clay magic. (Fun episode coming in Season 2!)

We started talking about moving LinkedIn engagement into a Clay table and mashing up ICP + persona data… and then this Slack convo happened:

👉 Me: "I want to record 5-minute podcasts navigating GTM."
👉 Andreas: "Yeah—like GTM snacks."
👉 Me: "Can I use that?"

And the rest is history.

Now, Season 1 is here! 11 snack-sized episodes helping you with your pipeline strategy, featuring some incredible guests.

First up: Morgan J Ingram (LinkedIn’s 4x Top Sales Voice) 🎤

His bold 10-year bet on LinkedIn:
"If I do this for 10 years consistently, am I going to fail? The answer is no."

🔑 Key highlights from our chat:
✅ Why video/voice notes in LinkedIn DMs crush traditional outreach.
✅ His counter-intuitive take on personalization at scale.
✅ The exact framework for starting on LinkedIn today.
✅ Why 2025 is his "foundational year."

But what really got me? His shift from being a "professional robot" to treating business & life as an adventure.
- Crushing pickleball tournaments
- Learning Japanese
- Leveling up fitness
- Gaming

And that’s just the first episode.

Here’s who else is joining us in Season 1 (new episodes every Monday & Friday!):

Here's 5 things ‪@Laraacosta‬ did to scale from 0 to 200k followers in 29 months (on LinkedIn).

(Most creators overlook #4)

I analyzed ALL 462 of her posts.

Here’s what I found:

Lara did NOT post every single day (like some of us).

And here’s the first thing she did:

She deleted her whole LinkedIn account…

And this is what completely changed how I think about LinkedIn.

If you fast forward her timeline 29 months…

Here's what happened:
↳ 200k+ LinkedIn followers.
↳ Multi-6-figure personal branding agency.
↳ #1 female creator for personal branding.
↳ Speaking gigs in Dubai, Mexico, and the UK.
↳ Featured on Forbes, LinkedIn News, Entrepreneur Magazine.

And she was just posting 3x per week.

Here's exactly how ‪@Laraacosta‬ pivoted from LinkedIn to YouTube (and got 24k views on her first video). And why you should copy this strategy to dominate any platform:

Everyone's shouting "be everywhere."

But Lara? She zigged when others zagged.

She mastered ONE platform first.

By December 2023, she'd hit 100k LinkedIn followers.

Then she did something brilliant.

She leveraged that success to CRUSH another platform.

On January 25, 2024, she dropped her first YouTube video.

The results?

24k views. On her FIRST video.

But it didn't stop there:

↳ 21k YouTube subscribers in 9 months.
↳ 480k+ total YouTube views.
↳ 19 YouTube videos.
↳ 200k LinkedIn followers (and growing).

Here's the kicker:

She never starts from scratch.

She's using the SAME content.

Just packaged differently.

It's not about being everywhere.

It's about being STRATEGIC.

Here's how you can do it too:

1/ Master one platform first
2/ Build a loyal audience
3/ Identify your next platform
4/ Repurpose your best content
5/ Leverage your existing audience to boost your new channel

Don't spread yourself thin.

Go deep, then go wide.

That's how you dominate not just one platform, but any platform you choose.

The best time to start?

Yesterday.

The second-best time?

Now...

I spent 24+ hours analyzing ‪@thejasminalic‬'s 850 posts, 575,594 comments and 872,650 reactions (he’s the #1 LinkedIn creator worldwide).

Here's the wildest thing I discovered:

He quit LinkedIn. Twice.

In 2020, he lasted 5 days.

In 2021, he made it 5 weeks.

But in 2022, everything changed.

And here’s today’s numbers:

↳ 268k+ loyal followers.
↳ 870,000+ reactions.
↳ 575k+ comments.
↳ 36k+ reposts.

Here’s the craziest part:

His first post from 2016 (a simple article share) still gets engagement today - 8 years later.

In 23 months, he went from:

↳ Failed creator to global #1.
↳ Unknown to featured in Forbes.
↳ 0 clients to 200+ coaching clients.
↳ $1,500/year to $5k per speaking gig.

But here's what most people miss:

He's never posted 7 days a week.

Not once.

Instead, he mastered:

↳ Strategic commenting.
↳ Perfect post formatting.
↳ Comment section domination.
↳ Personal storytelling that sells.

Watch the full breakdown—I know you're going to love it!

My team and I spent 20+ hours analyzing every single post ‪@Laraacosta‬ shared since May 2022. Here's the WILDEST thing:

She deleted her whole LinkedIn account before becoming the #1 female creator worldwide for personal branding.

Before building a multi-6-figure business…

Lara started from absolute zero:

↳ Zero connections.
↳ Zero followers.
↳ Zero posts.

And 29 months later:

↳ 200k LinkedIn followers.
↳ 15K newsletter subscribers.
↳ $200k+ revenue in 12 months.
↳ 500+ course members (300+ on waitlist).

But here's the kicker:

She NEVER posted every day.

She's NEVER had a full month of daily posting.

Yet she hit these numbers:

↳ 478K+ reactions.
↳ 254K+ comments.
↳ 12,600+ reposts (as of October 2024).

Here’s exactly what she did:

↳ Built genuine connections.
↳ Mastered the comment section.
↳ Focused on quality over quantity.
↳ Posted 3x per week (consistently).

Lara has built 300k+ followers across social media.

But the numbers only tell half the story…

What the full video I posted today.
