My name's Hannah and I live in Bulgaria with my husband Steve and our daughter Nix.
We bought our home here in 2019, we have lived in Bulgaria permanently since 2023 and my husband works for a local school in a nearby village called Rusalya.
Before moving to Bulgaria we lived in my hometown of Wrexham 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿, my husband is originally from New Zealand.
We met at a bar where my husband was DJing a 80s night, we later ran said bar and turned it into a 80s bar called Rewind ⏪
I'm a qualified hairdresser, a graphic designer and also worked as a waitress in a fish and chips restaurant! 😂
We love to cook and bake, and between us we can make anything we fancy... Including fish and chips 😅
Both my husband and I are music lovers, we have seen almost all of our favourites together... Iron Maiden is my favourite!
My husband now tours Bulgaria with the band Hinterlands playing classic rock almost every weekend and we can confirm that Bulgaria has the best audiences!
I have one million hobbies including crochet, watercolour, sewing, embroidery... Basically anything you can think of I have tried 😂
I also garden and grow fruits and veggies! This year I have harvested enough tomatoes to last me through this winter and the next!
And if you read all that well done, maybe tell me something about yourself? What's your favourite band? Do you have hobbies?

Bulgarian handwriting update 🇧🇬😆

After Nix saw my last lot of work, she has written down the Bulgarian alphabet for me to practice 😅
She is a very good teacher but she is also very strict, no room for errors 🤣
Thankfully she was happy with my work this morning!

When we moved to Bulgaria 3 years ago 🇧🇬 I would have never guessed I would be in a Bulgarian magazine!

Last November we were featured in Жената Днес, it was truly an amazing achievement... I keep my copy on my coffee table 😅 and even sent one to my mum back in Wrexham!

My handwritten Bulgarian is not very neat 😅
I need lessons from Nix!
I am a visual learner, so I like to write down sentences when I'm learning... And when I use the words in real life I see the pages in my head 🤣
P.s. there is one sentence I'm not 100% sure is correct, I'm sure you will let me know ☺️
