This channel will be used to bring insight, updates and general info on the Boeville and Newtown RR. I upload a new Short every Tuesday at 8am and a new episode every Friday at 8am.

The B&N (for short) is a fictitious bridge line between Richmond, VA and Harrisburg, PA and is partially owned by the Chessie System.

The layout itself was started back in the 1950's by my grandfather. Back then, it was a full fledged toy. Over the years it has grown and evolved into a semi-model railroad. There was a 13'x11' layout that was built in the mid 2000's and as of February 2019, no longer exists. I moved to a new house in April 2019 and a new 34'x8' layout is in progress. Follow its progress in New Layout VLOG's 2019-.

*** SPOILER ALERT ***

Just when you think you've made progress....welp....not so much.

Now, I found out tonight I have a major undertaking if the B&N is to be ready for an Ops Session. The turntable is once again non functioning (I have no idea how). It turns (when it wants to) and track power is intermittent as well.

To top it of, the bright idea I had for a car shop off the one corner, yeah, thats not going to work either. To many cars are picking the lead turnout. I knew the geometry over there was close. Apparently, not close enough.

To top it off, the roundhouse is back in place (along with the repaired fueling facility) but, it looks like its going to have to come back out because the one turn out on the far side of the roundhouse has some sort of alignment issue.

All of this was working....oh well....more work :(
