Sorry for not sending an update earlier. We have much improved things with Starlink, with upload speeds that are a lot better. There are still some concerns I have, but it's also possible I'm just getting faulty readings. In any case, I am going to stream tomorrow at what has been the usual time: 9:00 pm PST (Los Angeles) / 12:00 am EST (New York) / 6:00 am CEST (Munich) / 9:00 am YEKT (Yekaterinburg) / 3:00 pm AEDT (Sydney). I may or may not stream a game; I'll start with just chatting and having folks who get on tell me about the quality of the stream. I'm still figuring out this new setup with where I live now, so I'll be relying on you all to let me know of issues.

Sad news, everyone. I cannot get a good enough signal at the Cave right now for streaming really to happen. We think there's some problem with obstruction and/or the Starlink dish is too far away. We're going to move it on Monday to be on the roof of the Cave (rn it's roughly 150 feet away with some objects in between my computer's wifi device and the dish). That should improve things considerably.
FFR: As a note to myself, the speeds you see with your phone when testing Starlink won't necessarily match what your desktop machine shows. If I can get the kinds of speeds *my phone* reported, streaming won't be a problem at all. Sorry to miss YET ANOTHER weekend of streaming. I really miss you guys like hell.

I'm still working kinks out. I don't think this middle stream is going to work out. I'm seeing an awful lot of lag and delay just in *downloading* content; UPLOADING is generally considerably slower.

OK, I'm now set up on my PC and ready to go in the shed (going forward, referred to by the Dad's name for it: "the Cave"). No promises on stream performance; I'm still testing that to see; some adjustments might be needed. But, let's try to stream in just over an hour, OK?

I've had difficulty finding all of the parts of my computer system to finish setting it up. I did finally get all of them (I think), but the time it took to locate everything means I won't be doing the first stream today. Sorry, everyone. I do believe I'll be ready for tomorrow, for sure the normal third stream I do and HOPEFULLY the second as well. I'll post another update several hours from now.
