𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 𝐍𝐄𝐖. 𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐒 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 💙✨

Sometimes, restoring hope begins with something as simple as putting a smile on someone’s face.

The joy on the face of baby Calvine Watii was impossible to hide as he received a new means of mobility—a wheelchair—during a special handover, accompanied by his grandmother, Rose Mukhongo Wanyama of Lwandeti.

This is more than a wheelchair. It is dignity. It is mobility. It is hope. It is a reminder that lives can be made new.

A heartfelt appreciation to Smile Walk Wheelchair for making this moment possible through West Kenya Union Conference and helping demonstrate the spirit of “All Things New, Hope Starts Here.”

Present during the handover were:

• Pr. Joseph Lumati — Executive Secretary, WKC
• CPA Samuel Sichangi — CFO, WKC
• Pr. Lucas Ogwoka — Evangelism Director, WKC
• Pr. Dan Barasa — Ministerial Director, WKC
• Pr. Naftali Nyongesa — Stewardship Director, WKC
• Mrs. Eunice Kaburia — WKC Lay Representative to WKUC
• Pr. Simon Makokha — Pastor, Lwandeti District
• Martha Namasaka — Departmental Assistant, WKC

One smile. One act of kindness. One life touched.

This is what OneVoice27 looks like when hope moves from a slogan into action.

All Things New. Hope Starts Here. ❤️

🎙️ 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐕𝐎𝐈𝐂𝐄 27 — 𝐈 𝐀𝐌 𝐈𝐍!
What if your voice could help bring hope to someone who needs it?

OneVoice27 is a one-year mission and communication movement of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, calling every believer—and every person who wants to make a difference—to use their voice, influence, gifts, and platforms to share the hope found in Christ.

We are celebrating the 2,000 years since when Jesus was baptized in the year 27AD by spreading the gospel of Jesus with one voice as a church.

From September 2026 to September 2027, I AM IN! 🙋🏾‍♂️
Not just to watch. Not just to listen. But to participate.

🙏 PRAY — Make mission a daily conversation with God.
🗣️ SPEAK — Share your faith and your testimony.
🤝 INVITE — Bring someone closer to Jesus.
❤️ SERVE — Meet needs and show Christ's love.
📲 SHARE — Use your platforms to spread hope.

Our message is simple:
𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 𝐍𝐄𝐖.
𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐒 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" — 2 Corinthians 5:17

🌿 SHEPHERDESSES' SABBATH 2026 | ABIDE IN CHRIST 🌿

The Western Kenya Conference Shepherdesses' Sabbath 2026 was a sacred moment of worship, learning, and spiritual renewal under the theme, "Abide in Christ."

Through powerful presentations by Dr. Eunice Misiani (Chief Speaker & First Lady, WKUC), Pr. John Tuwei (Ministerial Director, WKUC), and Mama Mary Kesis (NRVF), shepherdesses were reminded that lasting fruitfulness in ministry comes only by remaining connected to Christ.

As women who stand beside God's servants in advancing His mission, they were challenged to lead with faith, serve with compassion, and continually draw strength from Jesus.

"Abide in Me, and I in you… for without Me you can do nothing." — John 15:4-5

May the lessons learned continue to inspire every shepherdess to shine as a beacon of hope in the church and community.

Western Kenya Conference of Seventh-day Adventists

𝐀 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡, 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭!

What a glorious Sabbath it was as more than 2,000 women from across the Western Kenya Conference of Seventh-day Adventists gathered at the Conference Headquarters in Webuye for the WKC Women Centre of Influence Grand Fundraiser.

United by a shared vision of service, empowerment, and community transformation, women from every corner of the Conference came together in an atmosphere filled with worship, fellowship, joy, and unwavering commitment to God's mission.

By God's grace and through the generosity of His people, an incredible Ksh. 421,000 was raised in a single day toward the establishment of the WKC Women Centre of Influence—a project that will serve as a beacon of hope, empowerment, and Christ-centered ministry to countless lives.

The gathering was further enriched by a powerful message from Pr. Roselyne Ayayo, who passionately challenged the congregation to respond to God's call. Drawing from Isaiah 6:8, she reminded attendees that God is still searching for willing hearts that will say:

"Here am I; send me."

Her message inspired women to embrace their divine calling, step out in faith, and become instruments of transformation in their homes, churches, and communities.

The Western Kenya Conference expresses sincere gratitude to all women, church leaders, donors, partners, and well-wishers whose prayers, presence, and contributions made this event a resounding success. The journey has begun, and together we are building more than a facility—we are building lives for eternity.

"When God's people unite around His mission, extraordinary things happen."
