Hello, dear ladies!

I know I told you that I would be taking the month of October off, and I am still enjoying this little break from filming and my regular YouTube schedule. But I wanted to pop in for just a few minutes to say hello, let you know I'm thinking of you, and share something that's been on my heart.

I have a dear friend here on YouTube, Hilary, from Old World Home, and unfortunately, she has been going through a very difficult situation with her channel. Her channel has been taken over by hackers not once, but twice now.

And I can only imagine how discouraging that must be, especially when you've poured so much of your time, creativity, and heart into something you love.

So, I wanted to take this opportunity to ask my lovely community if you would consider showing her a little love and support.

Hello ladies! 💕 Don’t let these luscious lashes fool you—I’ve been lying in bed all day with a nasty cold. This is the second Monday in a row I’ve spent in bed, but don’t worry… I’m not making this a habit!

Unfortunately, there wasn’t a post today. Rather than putting unnecessary expectations on myself this week when I already know my body is telling me to slow down, I’m going to accept that I simply can’t do all the things right now. And that’s okay.

I do have some things prepared, but I really want to go into a new week feeling fully prepared and ready to go. So, I’m going to take this week to rest, recover, and get things ready for next week. ❤️

More than anything, I just want to take a moment to tell you how grateful I am for you. You watch what I put out there, you interact in your own special ways, and you continue to show up. That means more to me than you probably realize.

Not everyone who has watched my videos over the years has made it this far, but you are here now. You care enough to be part of this journey with me, even though it looks completely different than it did years ago.

I’ll admit, I get into weird moods sometimes where I wonder if it’s worth continuing and keeping up what we’ve built over the years. But the truth is, I’m still enjoying myself. I still love creating, interacting with you, and hopefully inspiring you along the way. And as long as we have that, I’ll keep going. 💗

Speaking of milestones… what do you think would be a fun way to celebrate 10 years on YouTube?! 🎉 I know it’s still a few months away, but I’d love to hear your ideas so I can start planning!

Before we talk about anything else, I need your opinion! Which do you prefer on the chinoiserie wall... the light branches or the dark branches? I've been going back and forth, and I'd love to know which one feels more like The Lady of the House to you. Let me know in the comments—I always enjoy hearing your thoughts!

Another thing many of you have mentioned recently is that I seem different... happier, lighter, and more at peace. I've smiled every time I've read those comments because, truthfully, I feel it too. This past year has changed my perspective in so many ways, and I've found myself embracing our home and this season of life with a completely different attitude. I have a really exciting video planned for Monday, and I can't wait to see you there and share more with you!
