On my recent travels to Ohio, I visited the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
I have some thoughts on it…as a museum, as an institution, as a tourist attraction…but the guitars they had in the collection were pretty cool.
- a lesser known EVH art guitar from the “Fair Warning” tour
- Hendrix’s “Love Drops” Flying V
- Michael Anthony’s Jack Daniel’s Bass
- a broken Prince Cloud guitar
- one of Chuck Berry’s last ES-345s
- Elvis’ Gibson Jumbo from the “comeback” special
- Albert Collin’s Telecaster
- John Lee Hooker’s ES-335 that I believe was played in “The Blues Brothers”
- Les Paul’s “The Clunker”
- Muddy Waters’ red Telecaster

We’re entering an interesting time my friends.
