Welcome! Here, we skip the big-box store and build off-grid structures using our own sawmill. From mastering heavy-duty timber processing to exploring traditional, primitive wood preservation methods for ground-contact projects, every board has a story.
Follow along as we tackle complete structural builds—including off-grid cabins, utility sheds, garages, and outhouses—documenting the entire process from raw log to finished basecamp. If you love heavy machinery, hands-on woodworking, and true self-reliance, you are in the right place.
Core Focus
Sawmill Processing: Turning timber into precision framing lumber and custom stock.
Off-Grid Builds: Step-by-step documentation of cabins, sheds, and outbuildings.
Primitive Preservation: Protecting wood naturally for maximum longevity in ground contact.
