I didn’t get a meme out this week, so I just wanted to come on here and properly gush about you all instead.😍
You have truly become a second family to me.❤️
When I first started talking about my hopes and dreams of building a community a year or two ago, I never in a million years imagined it would turn into something this special!! 🥹
The way you show up for each other, the kindness, the understanding, and the support you’ve given me through the hard times… it still takes my breath away!
I feel so lucky to have you.❤️
On a personal note, I’m slowly getting my pacing and routine down better and better each day since the surgery (even with the ongoing perfume issues). I’m hopeful that any day now I’ll be able to start posting the less demanding “Real Talk” videos more regularly. (And on the higher-energy days, I still have a bunch of more educational scripts stocked up that I’m excited to get to when I can!)
My parrots say hi to every single one of you🦜🦜❤️. And Biki, my therapy parrot, can always tell when I’m happiest — which is usually when I’m reading all your comments and the love you send me! He starts dancing and looking extra cute every time, so I know he feels how good you’ve been for me too. 😉
I really hope I’ve been able to give some of that same goodness back to you. Helping others who understand this life has become my biggest reason for living, and you make that feel possible every single day.
I love you all so much. Thank you for being the most amazing Survivor community I could ever ask for. You mean the world to me. ❤️
Truly one of the weirdest parts of living with severe chronic illness is how often you have to reassure people that you’re still here and still alive..
Time flies by when everyday is a living Hell, and people always seem to assume the worst when they haven’t heard from us in awhile. It’s exhausting, but it’s also good to know they care.

I am trying SO HARD to get my butt out of bed and able to make videos again!! Please dont leave- I'm not dead yet I swear! 😓 (Almost 10 subscribers left in the last month, and I really feel like it is because they have given up hope on me.. 😭) [EDIT TO ADD: Gosh.. Lost two more subscribers in the hour since this posted.. Dang.. 😳😰]
I want to practice what I preach and come back when my body is ready, so I don't just keep crashing again and again.. I want to do it right, and come back and continue to make videos regularly- instead of once every 2-6 months like I have been. 😅
But life has thrown so many curve balls at me that it is taking way longer than I originally anticipated.. Ugg..
Gosh.. Living with ME/CFS is just constantly trying to find that impossible balance.. It’s exhausting, and feels like you’re being told to spin multiple plates on sticks, while at the same time being told to rest. JUST HOW?!
It’s crazy how living life in any little way in this modern society usually also means lacking self care..

So many of us have sat in a doctor’s office only to be told our tests are normal and it’s “all in our head.”

Survival of the Fatigued
Hey Survivors!
My faithful guard-parrot Biki has been protecting me while I’ve been passed out in near-constant, agonizing pain lately.
I thought it was so sweet of him ❤️ that I eventually managed to sneak this photo while pretending I was still asleep 😂
Yes… I’m still surviving. Thank you all so much for checking in on me. It really means a lot. ❤️
I thought my surgical wounds had completely healed by now, but over the last week or so (especially since the perfume exposure got worse) those areas have started acting up again. It’s very strange.
I’m really hoping it’s just a nutrition issue (probably needing more protein and vitamin C) and not my body attacking those specific spots when I’m exposed to perfume.
Seriously though! I swear I have multiple episodes ready to go — both the old style and the new REAL TALK ones!
I just need a window of energy where I don’t feel like death warmed over so I can actually record them..
I’m not putting them off because I’m being lazy. The second I can, I have a lot of material ready to go!
Hopefully soon, friends. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers 💜
Also… I started a new medication for my ME/CFS and POTS today that I actually have high hopes for. Fingers crossed I’m not allergic to this one too, and that it helps more than it hurts 🤞😅
