One of the most unexpected things we did in Egypt. 🐊
We went to a Nubian home in a small village across the Nile from Aswan and somehow ended up holding baby crocodiles.
Crocodiles are a part of Nubian culture, and some families have traditionally kept them as pets. The man who welcomed us into his home was so warm and friendly, gave us a home tour, and then casually brought out his little crocodile for us to hold.
This is legal even in 2026.
Safe to say, this was not on our Egypt itinerary. 😂
