So, yesterday. Nexstar Media Group had merged with TEGNA for $6.3 BILLION owning the majority of local TV stations nationwide. My reaction when that happened is ASHAME. I believe that this merger is so shady and bad because it will impact local stations. People will experience layoffs and job losses with no fault of their own. If I was a president and CEO of TEGNA, I will say “HELL NO!” because this deal is bad and I am not going to let that happen. Just think about it. To me, I will have to move forward and not let this get to me because that’s the rich people stuff, I will still doing news compilations on my channel, and bring you some good content. In reality, we just have to live another day.

So if you haven’t heard, Nexstar Media Group is buying broadcast rival Tegna for $6.2 billion, bringing together two major players in U.S. television and the country’s local news landscape.
Look, I’m not surprised about this because that just corporate stuff as usual. But my 2 stations included is my CBS Station WWL-TV and MyNetworkTV station WUPL 54. Now, I was not happy when WWL rebranded themselves as “WWL Louisiana”, it impacted New Orleanians. I’m not gonna blame WWL-TV for this, I blame the company for this, and that is TEGNA.
Here is what we want:
1. Revert back to WWL-TV Channel 4 as I known for many years.
2. Bring back the “Eyewitness News” branding.
3. Bring back “The Spirit of Louisiana” image campaigns.
4. Replace “C-Clarity” with Stephen Arnold Music and/or 615 Music.
5. Reverted WUPL 54 back to My54 just like the rest of its affiliates around the country.
Because TEGNA, made it unbearable for these stations across the country, especially my station.

Attention everyone. Effective immediately, I putting my papers for retirement. I decided to move on from doing News compilations, it’s just time. I know this is a shock to you, but most people do not watch the news because too much of negativity nowadays, I only just watched the weather and that’s that. From shootings to presidential elections every 4 years, this is not the environment that I want to associate with.
I just want to thank everyone and my inspirations @Studio31MediaArchive , @sben3173 , @theidjunkie5344, @kyndlehewett and TL Hughes, the guy who started it all. Also, I will like to thank Christopher Francer, the guy who emailed me outdated compilations. I will be focusing on my main channel doing PBS content because I’ve been missing out not uploading videos in a while.
Like the legendary Walter Cronkite says “And That’s The Way It Is!”. So thank you for everything and god bless to each and every one of you. 🙏🏾
