I am a licensed doctor practicing Digestive Functional Medicine and have an insatiable hunger for knowledge. My path into Holism began as a long-time sufferer of Gut, Autoimmune, and Inflammatory Diseases that couldn't be resolved within Institutionalized Healthcare. After having attained my "dream job" in Investment Banking I found myself "permanently" disabled at age 24 and living at home with my Mom. It was a gut check (pun intended).
From a Vitalistic lens, I will focus on the underlying causes of disease and means by which to reverse disease using:
1) Evidence based on research
2) My clinical observations treating patients
3) My own personal experiences
Each of these carry different value for different people. Take what you wish to take.
From investment banking to disabled to practicing physician. I am on the constant journey of Healing Me, Healing You.

One of the biggest misconceptions about Hashimoto’s:
Normal thyroid labs ≠ an inactive autoimmune disease.
Thyroid hormone replaces what your thyroid can no longer make.
It doesn’t necessarily address why the immune system attacked it.
Those are two different conversations.

Many people find their way to me after months (or even years) on acid-suppressing medication…
Why? Because the root causes of their reflux were never truly addressed.
PPIs and antacids can calm the burn — but they don’t fix the reasons acid is getting where it doesn’t belong.
That’s why so many symptoms return as soon as the meds are stopped.
Here are 4 common root causes I see in my practice:
1️⃣ Low stomach acid → slows digestion, increases pressure, and pushes acid upward.
2️⃣ Poor motility → delayed emptying means more backflow risk.
3️⃣ Structural issues → hiatal hernia, weak diaphragm, or LES dysfunction.
4️⃣ Microbial overgrowth → SIBO, candida, and dysbiosis can drive gas, inflammation, and reflux.
If you’ve been managing reflux for years without lasting relief, there’s a good chance one (or more) of these factors is still unaddressed.
💬 Message me “REFLUX” to talk about your case.

🎤 The truth about PPIs:
One of the most damaging mistakes I see?
People being put on proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) long-term — often without a clear diagnosis, and almost always without being told the real cost.
Because here’s the mic-drop moment:
Most people with reflux don’t have too much acid.
They have too little.
That low stomach acid slows digestion, causes food to ferment, builds gas, and puts pressure on the lower esophageal sphincter — the valve between your stomach and throat.
That pressure forces acid upward = acid reflux.
So what do PPIs do?
They suppress acid even more — and make the root cause worse.
Even worse:
When stomach acid is low, the pyloric sphincter (between your stomach and small intestine) also malfunctions — letting bile reflux up from the small intestine.
Now you’ve got two types of reflux — acid and bile — and none of it’s being addressed.
🔥 And all because we blamed “too much acid”…
…when the real issue was valve dysfunction + poor motility + low acid.

Studies have shown that small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) is found in up to 54% of people with hypothyroidism — especially those with Hashimoto’s.
Why?
Hypothyroidism slows gut motility. And when motility slows, bacteria can build up in the small intestine instead of getting swept downstream. That buildup = SIBO.
🧠 That’s why so many people with Hashimoto’s also struggle with:
• Bloating
• Constipation
• Fatigue
• Brain fog
• Nutrient deficiencies
📉 If your thyroid labs look “fine” but you still feel awful… it might be your gut.

📢If you’re seeing these signs, don’t wait until it’s too late — DM me ‘GALLBLADDER’ and let’s talk.
Most people don’t realize this…
Your gallbladder isn’t just a storage pouch for bile — it times and controls how bile flows into your digestive tract.
When it’s not working right (or gets removed), bile trickles constantly…
That disrupts digestion, slows motility, throws off your gut microbiome, and can even drive bile reflux, bacterial overgrowth, hormone imbalances, and toxin buildup.
The kicker?
Gallbladder dysfunction is often silent — until it’s not.
I’ve seen so many patients who ignored subtle signs… until it became an emergency gallbladder attack.
⚠️ If you have any of these symptoms, don’t brush it off:
— Bloating after meals
— Floating or pale stools
— Nausea with fatty foods
— Right-sided rib pain or tightness
— Hormone swings (especially estrogen dominance)
— Constipation or loose stools
Gallbladder health is gut, hormone, and detox health.
I check it on nearly every client — even when doctors say “everything looks fine.”
👉 DM me “GALLBLADDER” if you want to know how I help people spot and support this before it’s too late.

Most people think of adaptogens as “stress herbs” — but I use them all the time for chronic symptoms tied to immune system dysfunction.
Because here’s the thing:
Your immune system can stay hyperreactive long after the original trigger is gone.
That might have been:
— A gut infection
— SIBO or Candida overgrowth
— Mold exposure
— Chronic stress
— A past virus (like Epstein-Barr or COVID)
And when the immune system stays stuck in fight mode…
You get symptoms like:
— IBS and food sensitivities
— Chronic bloating
— Fatigue and post-viral crashes
— Hormone imbalance
— MCAS or histamine overload
Adaptogens help regulate — not suppress — the immune response.
That’s why they’re a key part of my protocols for clients with long-haul symptoms, gut issues, and hormone imbalances.
👉 If you’re stuck in survival mode and want help dialing down inflammation,
DM me “IMMUNE” — I’ll share how I use adaptogens clinically for gut + immune health.

I see this all the time:
People who can only manage symptoms by cutting out more and more foods.
But real healing means expanding, not shrinking your world.
Why? Because most food sensitivities aren’t the root cause.
They’re a sign of:
— Gut inflammation
— Leaky gut
— Histamine overload
— Nervous system dysregulation
— Immune intolerance
When you address the root cause, your body can tolerate more — without reactions.
If you’re stuck in the “food fear” cycle, it’s time to shift from avoidance to resilience.
👉 Are you ready to actually heal — and finally expand your diet without fear?
📝 DM me “RESILIENCE” and let’s talk about how I help clients break free from chronic restriction by fixing the real root causes.

Your body is not betraying you.
It’s adapting.
That fatigue, bloating, rash, brain fog, pain — it’s not “just in your head.”
It’s the result of years of inputs your body had no choice but to respond to:
🧠 Unprocessed trauma — shaping your nervous system to live in a constant state of hypervigilance.
🍕 Chronic inflammation — from foods your gut can’t tolerate, or stealth infections hiding beneath the surface.
💊 Years of medications — that may have masked symptoms, but never solved the root problem.
😰 A nervous system stuck in fight, flight, or freeze — keeping your body from resting, digesting, and healing.
These symptoms aren’t failures.
They’re intelligent feedback.
Your body has been adapting to survive.
Now it’s time to help it heal.
That starts by asking better questions, not reaching for stronger suppressants.
It starts with listening instead of overriding.
Shift the input.
Rewrite the story.
That’s healing.

Ever feel like you’re doing everything right… and still getting nowhere?
I’ve seen it all:
• Women on 12+ random supplements, unsure what half of them do
• Three Candida cleanses—without ever testing positive
• Gluten-free, AIP, carnivore, low-FODMAP… and still bloated, fatigued, inflamed
What changed everything?
We tested.
We mapped the issues.
We followed a phased plan that actually made sense for their body.
It’s not about trying harder.
It’s about getting more targeted.
If you’re stuck, it doesn’t mean you’re broken.
It means your strategy needs to change.
📩 DM me “ROADMAP” if you’re ready to stop spinning your wheels and start healing with clarity.
