Don't want to jinx it- but I'm pretty close to a round number of subscribers.
If I make it over the line, I'm going to make a self-indulgent video and put it on here.

If there is anything you would like to ask me for that video (skincare routine, meanest ever comment, what is my perfect Sunday etc.) - that would be great.

I am back on Koala, chopping things up, flipping them, sizzling, and other cooking metaphors!

Check out my latest video on the Armand van Helden remix of Tori Amos- here 's a little taster (another cooking metaphor)

Making a sample breakdown video about The Prodigy track has been my white whale for a while- I've tried and failed several times to reproduce one of their tracks in Koala, Liam Howlett has his own way with samples that I cannot copy!

Anyway I've just made a video about "Out Of Space" that covers the Hanna Barbera sound effect, whether Max Romeo got paid, and "Toytown Techno" - check it out.

Just realised I had never shared the Koala souce file from the Isaac Hayes video (which has a massive mistake at the start of it. Sorry).

Anyway- the Koala file which includes the Isaac Hayes sample + K-Pop Demon Hunters + Oasis mashups is here

drive.google.com/file/d/1CRdLeB6gfRMT0HdBvXscxAA78…

if you didn't realise I shared Koala files, and would like more- here is the folder

and finally here's the Isaac Hayes video, which is worth watching just to see how often my facial hair changes.

This track was huge in the UK- a number 1 hit made in a bedroom.

My parents cut out a newspaper article and airmailed it from England to Korea (where I was living, and making music in my bedroom).

New video up now talking about the stories and samples behind “Your Woman” by White Town.

If you like when I do sample breakdowns, but wish I would stop trying to make my own music, then you are in for a treat!

This video started off with me trying to explain why I’ve been working on a breakdown of The Prodigy’s “Out Of Space” and have nothing to show for it.

The 5 Levels of sampling:

Just done a 20 minute livestream and the audio wasn’t coming out of the right device. Great stuff.

Baby steps. I’m learning.

April Stevens is a new discovery for me- I love her breathy, sensual singing style.

Yes she was banned from the radio a lot in the 50s and 60s, but come on, you're a grown up. You can hear it.

Another sample breakdown dropped last night if you're interested?

Warning- contains Donald Trump dressed as a farmer.

I'm reshuffling things a bit - so apologies if you see a video pop up pretending to be new when you are pretty sure you have seen it before.
