What do Hindu texts actually say?

Are Indra and Varuna “Vedic gods” while Shiva and Vishnu came later?
Is Hindu Dharma about one “God” or many?
Did our texts really support caste discrimination or patriarchy?
And what is the consistent message across the Vedas, Itihasa, and Puranas?

For diaspora families raising children today, how can we understand the essence of Hindu texts in a simple and meaningful way and what can our children gain from them?

Join our podcast conversation with ‪@amiganatra547‬ Ami Ganatra as we discuss ideas from her new book ‘Why Are We This Way’?

Celebrate Hindu Heritage Month with us! Join us *TODAY* as we converse with Prof. Alok Kumar on his book ‘Ancient Hindu Science (Oct 28th at 8pm ET).

This October, as we celebrate Hindu Heritage Month, the Hindu Parents Network invites you to join a series of insightful webinars highlighting the rich contributions of Hindu civilization to the world.

In popular narratives, the origins of civilization and scientific progress are often centered around Europe, with less recognition given to the contributions of other ancient cultures. The immense impact of ancient India, in particular, is frequently under appreciated.

Through these webinars, we will shine a light on the remarkable achievements of Hindu civilization, whose advancements in mathematics, science, astronomy, medicine, mind science, philosophy, and spirituality have profoundly shaped human history and continue to influence the modern world.
