Carney didn't live in Canada for over a decade, declared himself a citizen of the EU (“I’m a European actually.”) , his wife lives in New York, his kids go to school in the US, 90% of his investments are in the US, when at Brookfield he moved their home office from Canada to the US.......and we are supposed to believe his schtick that the US is bad, the enemy, orange man bad, elbozos up, love in with the EU, etc etc etc....? Mark Carney could not be more out of touch.

With Canadians missing meals and mortgage payments, and days before he addresses the European Parliament (instead of the Canadian Parliament) we learn in a foreign newspaper of secret talks to make Canada an "Associate Member" of the European Union.

This is not about diversifying trade: we have had tariff-free trade with Europe for over a decade. They would buy more of our goods today if the Liberal government would get out of the way and permit mines, pipelines, LNG plants to produce and ship them.

Canadians deserve answers: Is the WSJ report true about associate membership in the EU?

If so, will European border policies apply in Canada, further overwhelming our immigration system while our youth can’t find homes?
Will Canadian waitresses struggling with rent have to pay tax dollars to the bloated EU bureaucracy?

Will Canadian small businesses be buried under the red tape of Eurocrats that have never met a Canadian entrepreneur?

All questions I’d ask in Parliament, but it is shuttered.

And one more: who decides for Canada?

The Welland welder did not elect a Eurocrat to regulate our steel. The Saskatchewan farmer and the Atlantic fisherman did not choose a Brussels agrifood regulator that has never even seen our prairies or coasts.

We will NEVER be the 51st U.S. state. And we will NEVER be the 28th EU state.

We are Canadians. This is our home, our freedom, our sovereignty, our people.

Jean Chrétien’s speech today was the perfect representation of how unhinged & disgraceful the Liberal Party has become.

He stood on a podium at a 9/11 event and gave a speech on how America shouldn’t mess with us, not mistake kindness for weakness & how strong we are.

Today is a day of mourning.

Not a day to puff out our chest as a result of a failed negotiation.

3000 people died.

And today, the Liberals overshadowed it with anger instead of sympathy.

We should not accept this as the norm.

This type of politics should never be welcomed in our country.

It was cruel and beneath us.

I'm totally fine with giving Ukraine money for their war effort, it's going quite well as of recently.

BUT

Giving Ukraine $350 Million underlines in my mind how stupid it is that we just gave $120 Million to Brazil for "climate change" nonsense and we are blowing $90 Billion on the Alto high speed rail project, which no where near enough people want to make the price tag worth it.

A 100-year partnership with Ukraine.

Carney just signed Canadians up for a century of this while Parliament isn’t even sitting.

Defense co-production. Energy. Reconstruction. Migration. More of your money. More of your industry. More of your future tied to a war that isn’t ours.

We’ve already sent billions. Housing is a disaster. Healthcare wait times are a joke. Young people can’t afford a house.

And the Prime Minister is outdoors in Calgary signing a 100-year cheque beside a military vehicle like this is some historic moment instead of another bill dumped on working families.

Who voted for a 100-year commitment? Who gets to bind your kids and grandkids to this? Not you. Not Parliament. Just Carney and Zelenskyy.

Canada First means we take care of Canadians first. Not another endless foreign partnership sold as “strategy” while the country at home keeps getting weaker.

How much more are we supposed to give before someone in Ottawa remembers who they actually work for?
