[Toon x Mobster] Art dump ---------- Also, what do you guys think about the debate regarding fem x masc yuri ships being considered "heteronormative"?
I'm personally still learning more about it so I can't say for sure just yet, especially since all my (queer) friends all have differing opinions regarding the subject.
All I know is that Grace and Hazel could fall under this category, so I wanted to hear your thoughts. ✍️
𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼! 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼. 😅 𝗠𝘆 𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗽 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴, 𝘀𝗼 𝗜 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. -------------- 𝟭. 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗜 𝗳𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼? I didn't give him a false strike. My decision to write that DMCA was unbiased.
Simply put: He used my art without permission, which went against my guidelines that he didn't care to look at or look for. I have many reposters I take care of on my own, and it's not within my ability to have a chat with all of them individually to tell them to "please not repost my art" in their accounts.
Every reposter gets a DMCA, and his case was no different. I'm simply doing what I've always done.
Although, I would like to point out that I never intended for my DMCA to cause such a stir. And while it's true that I can't pin posts on Youtube to show everyone my guidelines, they are up in every other socials I have.
I earn from my art, so my artworks concern my livelihood too. --- 𝟮. 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗜 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗠𝗖𝗔? Sadly, no. I did not. Quoting my answer on the previous question, "I have many reposters I take care of on my own, and it's not within my ability to have a chat with all of them individually to tell them to "please not repost my art" in their accounts."
Moreover, seeing him not credit any of the other artists in the description made me assume he wouldn't have paid me any mind either. I couldn't see any reason to contact him at the time because of that.
This was due to a lack of communication between both parties, with Pappo not asking for my consent before putting my art in his video, and with me not reaching out to contact him afterwards. --- 𝟯. 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗜 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼? No, and I didn't watch the video in full either. I only focused on the part featuring my artwork, so my DMCA wasn't even related to the topic within the video. -- 𝟰. 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: The DMCA I gave Pappo was a 7-day strike, meaning he had 7 whole days to censor that 2-3 second part of his video.
But let me first explain how DMCA takedowns work in Youtube. There are two types of DMCAs, which is Scheduled and Standard. Scheduled gives the opposing party a 7-day notice to either contact the original poster, or take down their video. Standard takes the video down straight up without giving the opposing party a chance to say anything.
I chose the Scheduled option for Pappo.
Youtube would have given him a Gmail telling him that he got a scheduled DMCA. They'll give him a reason 𝘸𝘩𝘺 he got it, as well as a playback on 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵 of the video got struck, as well as the 𝘰𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘮𝘺 𝘎𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘭 directly. That's how DMCAs work, and it also shows that on the screenshot he posted.
I did not tell Youtube to immediately go put his video down for no reason, I gave him 7 whole days to contact me.
He could have emailed me, and he chose not to, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 made that community post saying I falsely claimed him-- which is Also not true. That DMCA was sent with a valid reason. And then he says that you can't change anything about the video, which is 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯, not true.
There is a video editor you can access on Youtube Studio, and by going to the "Content" then clicking the "Details" of the video you want changed, you can scroll down and see the "Video Editor" option. The Video Editor is especially helpful for editing copyrighted segments after a video has already been posted.

I 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 contacted them, and I regret not doing so. This was a fault in my part.
I am going to assume this was a miscommunication between the two of us, or they got the information from a 3rd party (commentor) who misrepresented the situation.

It was 𝘯𝘰𝘵 a false copyright claim.

Now. In their reuploaded video's pinned comment & replies, he states that:
